[New Delhi]Retired Army Man Arrested With CSD’s 600 Old Monks
Crime Branch busted a gang of interstate bootleggers with the arrest of three accused persons namely
(i) Kripa ShankarSharma (45 yrs)Of Jam Nagar, Gujrat,
(ii)Praveen Diwedi (28 yrs)
[!!!]MaheshSingh (34 yrs) Delhi.
This gang was being run by a retired Havildar of Army.
The accused persons used a Maruti SX-4car with a ‘red beacon’ and forged number plate with defence number series.
The leader impersonated himself as a serving Subedar in Indian Army.
They used to procure illicit liquor from Delhi and smuggled the same to Gujarat after affixing forged label of “CSD Supply Old Monk XXX-RUM”.
Total 600 bottles of illicit liquor have been recovered from their possession.
