[Lucknow,UP]UP CM Akhilesh Yadav to Criss-Cross State to Assess Welfare Schemes
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will soon criss-cross the state for an on-the- spot assessment and review of various welfare programmes and development schemes.
“The chief minister will visit various districts soon after the completion of panchayat elections (by December-end) for an on the spot assessment of welfare programmes and take a direct feedback from the beneficiaries,” an official spokesman said here today.
Assembly elections are due in the state in early 2017.
During these visits, besides inaugurating development projects and distributing kanya vidyadhan, laptops, tri-cycles and samajwadi pension under the various welfare schemes, he will review law and order and take report on follow up action in criminal cases of serious nature.
“He will take direct feedback from people with regard to irrigation facilities and power situation,” the spokesman said, adding that the chief minister will take report regarding road projects and undertake inspection of roads.
The chief minister will take the feedback on power supply in rural areas, maintenance and hygiene at government hospitals, ambulance service, samajwadi health service and Lohia gramin avas yojna and also check the quality of these schemes.
