[Puducherry]Puducherry Lt Gov Dr Kiran Bedi Announces Award For Cleanest Village
Puducherry will institute award for the cleanest village in the Union Territory,
Lt Governor Kiran Bedi said
“This is to recognise efforts of the villagers in making their hamlet clean and hygienic”
She said at a meeting with the residents of Veerampattinam village.”The award will be presented during the Republic Day celebrations”
Bedi has been visiting rural areas in the weekends as part of her “Swachh Puducherry Mission”.
Earlier, she visited Uruvayaru and Kanuapet villages in Villianoor commune panchayat limits.
