ईद पर फितरा का विशेष महत्त्व है
आज ईद है सब तरफ त्यौहार की खुशियाँ बटौरी और लुटाई जा रही हैं|
इस त्यौहार को भाई चारे और ख़ुलूस से मनाने के किये फितरा और जकात[दान] को भी फर्ज़ बताया गया है|
२९ से ३० रोजों की तपस्या के बाद चाँद के दीदार एक रूहानी सुकून देता है\इसके बाद शुरू हो जाती है
त्यौहार की मौज मस्ती |मगर ईद की इस मौज से पड़ोस का कोई गरीब महरूम न रह जाए कोई मायूस न हो जाये
इसीलिए जकात +फितरा जैसी व्यवस्था भी की गई है|
फितरा में घर के प्रत्येक सदस्य द्वारा पौने दो किलो अनाज या इसकी कीमत का जरुरत मंद को दान करना जरुरी है|
जकात में बताया गया है कि मिलकियत [जेवर+जायदाद+जमा पूँजी]का १% दान किया जाना जरुरी है|इसके अलावा
ईद कि नमाज़ पड़ने के लिए आने वाले नामाज़िओं द्वारा ईद गाह के बाहर बैठे फकीरों को दान देकर सवाब कमाया जाता है|साउदी अरब में जबकि भीख मांगना अपराध है मगर त्यौहार के समय बड़ी संख्या में भारत+पाकिस्तान+बंगलादेश से लोग केवल खैरात के लिए वहां जाते हैं |कुछ लोग बेशक पकडे भी जाते हैं कैद भुगतते हैं लेकिन लेने और देने वालों के धार्मिक मान्यता पर प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता|
