लगा रहे सतज्ञान सों , सबही बंधन तोड़
कहैं कबीर वा दास सौं, काल रहै हथजोड़
भाव : कबीर दास जी शिष्य की महिमा बताते हुए कहते हैं , जिसने विषयों से अपने मन को हटा लिया है,
जो सांसारिक बन्धनों से रहित है और सत्य – स्वरूप में जिसकी दृढ निष्ठा है , ऐसे गुरु – भक्त के
सामने तो काल भी सिर झुकाए हुए रहता है अर्थात – मन की लम्बी दौड़ और काम वासना ही
मनुष्य का काल है . एक सच्चे गुरु – भक्त के सामने कामवासनाएँ या कल्पनाएँ ठहरती ही नहीं हैं .
कबीर संत थे या दास यह हमेशा चर्चा का विषय रहा है|वास्तव में कबीर संत और दास दोनों ही थे|उन्होंने एक जुलाहे परिवार में परवरिश पाई थी मगर विचारों से क्रांतिकारी थे उन्होंने एक धर्म या कुरीतिओं में बंधे रहना कभी स्वीकार नहीं किया| संत कबीर की भाषा को पञ्च मेल खिचडी भी कहा जाता है|हिन्दू और मुस्लिम दोनों धर्मो के अनुयायियों ने उन्हें अपनाया है यहाँ तक की वर्तमान में सिख धर्म में भी कबीर की अमृत अमर वाणी का आदर किया गया है|
