Moulvi Bashir Ahmad Farooqi, imam and preacher at famous the Hazratbal mosque passed away today.
He was 84.
Farooqi breathed his last at his home
He is survived by his wife and four?children including two daughters.
Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Farooqi.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described late Farooqi?as a great Islamic scholar who was an embodiment of spirituality.
