Mrs Shammi, who acted in over 200 films and some popular television serials and was known for her impeccable comic timing,
Born as Nargis Rabadi in a Parsi family, Shammi featured in many popular films, including “Ustad Pedro”, “Bhai- Bahen”, “Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayi”, “Half Ticket”, “Jab Jab Phool Khile”, “Ittefaq”, “The Burning Train”, “Kudrat”, “Awara Baap”, “Swarg”, “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi” Purab Pashchim and others.
She also acted in quite a few popular TV serials, such as “Dekh Bhai Dekh”, “Zabaan Sambhal Ke”, “Shriman Shrimati”, “Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh” and “Filmi Chakkar”.
Shammi was married to film producer director Sultan Ahmed for seven years, before they got divorced.Her sister Mani Rabadi is wellknown Fashion Designer

[Mumbai] Veteran Bollywood Actor Dilip Kumar Hospitalized
He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has been admitted to a hospital after suffering from swelling in his leg.
Kumar, 93, was rushed to the Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra, yesterday in the morning hours.
The veteran actor will be turning 94 on December 11 and Saira hopes he is back home by then.
Earlier, Kumar was admitted to Lilavati hospital for a few days in April this year following respiratory problems.
During his six-decade long career the legendary actor, whose real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, has acted in many superhit films like
“Madhumati”,
“Devdas”, ”
Mughal-e-Azam”,
“Ganga Jamuna”,
“Ram Aur Shyam”
“Gopi”
“Sagina”
and “Karma”.
He was last seen on-screen in the film “Qila” in 1998.

[Mumbai] Dilip Kumar,After a Week,Discharged from Lilavati Hospital
Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalised for nearly a week due to respiratory problems, was discharged today.
Kumar was admitted to the Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra on April 15 because high fever, chest infection and respiratory issues.
Dilip Kumar came out on on a wheel chair accompanied by wife Saira Banu around noon.
Earlier, doctors had said that Kumar would be discharged last evening but the family decided against it and postponed it for today.
Superstar Aamir Khan had come to meet the 93-year-old legend last evening.
He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
