Arvind Kejriwal Meets Dowry Victim Late Neha Yadav’s Family and Assures all Possible Help
-Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met the family of dowry victim, late Neha Yadav, who had succumbed to her burn injuries on July 2.
AAP Top Brass Leader met Neha’s Father Birender Yadav and assured all possible help to the family in their fight for justice. Neha’s father told Arvind Kejriwal that Neha’s in-laws were forcing them to vacate the house in Indra Park, Sagarpur, West Delhi, where Neha and her two children, [1]10 year old daughter Khushi and[2] six year old sonRohit were staying with her.
Neha’s family also told that Neha’s in-laws are also issuing threats and the police were not taking any action.
Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh told the family that party leader and former Delhi minister Rakhi Birla would follow up the case and would ensure stern police action against the culprits.
After this meeting, Rakhi Birla took Neha’s family to the DCP (West) Suman Goyal’s office. In their meeting with the DCP, Neha’s family complained about inaction of local police officials. The DCP assured of prompt action in the case. Rakhi demanded that the investigation be concluded as soon as possible and a chargesheet be filed against the culprits.
She also demanded that Neha’s family be given due protection.
