[Mumbai] Lufthansa’s All Back Tyres Busted on Landing in Mumbai,160 Passengers Had Lucky Escape
Over 160 passengers and crew on-board a Lufthansa flight from Munich to the megapolis had a Lucky escape here last night after all four back tyres of the Airbus aircraft were damaged while landing.
The 163 passengers on-board the Airbus A330 flight were be deplaned through stairs and none of them were hurt,
The incident that took place at 2250 hrs yesterday forced the Mumbai airport to shift the operations to the secondary runway, leading to cancellation of many international flights besides delays.

Lufthansa Air Lines Will Pay Compensation Of Rs 4.5 Lakh to a Indian Flyer
[New Delhi]German airline Lufthansa has been directed by a consumer forum here to pay Rs 4.5 lakh to a flyer for causing harassment and mental agony after his baggage went missing while flying from Frankfurt to London in 2007. As Per PTI ,New Delhi Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum directed the airline, whose office is located here, to pay Rs 3 lakh (USD 5,000) as compensation to west Delhi resident Rajeev Vaderah for loss of his valuables and also Rs 1.
