[New Delhi]Government Inter College Staff Killed In Firing By Local Police Constable
A 50-year-old employee of Government Inter College (GIC) Meerut was killed today while another person injured in firing by a police constable,
The accused, identified as Satyandra, has been arrested and sacked,
The constable was posted as guard at the answer sheet collection centre of the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education within the college campus,
Another person, Hariom (37), an employee of Sakoti Inter School was injured and admitted to a nearby hospital,
Following the incident, irate employees blocked Hapur Road in protest which was called off after talks with police and administrative officials.
