Indian Air Force. Veterans Organised First Rally Today
This Rally ,Inaugurated By I A F Chief, was organised to resolve pension anomalies of the air veterans.
The 1st Air Veteran rally held today at Air Force Auditorium, Subroto Park, New Delhi was organised by the Directorate of Air Veterans, Air Headquarters.
[2]Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) inaugurated this event .Air Veterans and four retired Chief of the Air Staff. also blessed this event
Senior officials from internal audit department Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) also witnessed this beginning
Officials of pension disbursing banks were also available. This event was organised to resolve pension anomalies of the air veterans.
[3]The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS).
The inaugural address was given by Air Commodore AK Patra, Principal Director, Directorate of Air Veterans, Air HQs.
The programme continued for the entire day with an aim to harmonise efforts in resolving payment issues to pensioners.
