Punjab Is Switched Over to Election Mode But Crime Rate Is On High.
Five armed persons today looted Rs 20 lakh from personnel of a cash handling company .Company Personnel were replenishing cash at an ATM of Punjab National Bank at the Civil Hospital
The accused decamped with a suitcase containing Rs 20 lakh and also took cash in the ATM after said SSP SSP Varinderpal Singh Admitted that security guard and company personnel were overpowered .
There were two cash handlers and the company’s driver in the ATM kiosk when the incident happened.
They had come from Mohali to replenish cash at the ATM,
