Akhilesh’s ‘hi-tech’ Samajvadi Rath Ready to Roll Once Again

[Lucknow,UP] Akhilesh’s hi-tech Samajvadi Rath Ready to Roll Once Again
The hi-tech customised ‘rath’ of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, which broke down after covering less than a kilometre, has been repaired and is ready to roll once again
The next leg of yatra is likely to start on November 14 or 15 from Jhansi,”
After leaving the La-Martinere College ground and hitting Lohia Path at a stone’s throw distance from the flag-off venue on November 3, the bright red rath developed some tehnical problems forcing Akhilesh to shift to his official vehicle.
The Chief Minister waited anxiously for the repair work to be over, but as it took time, he decided to go ahead in his official SUV.
Due to the snag in the modified bus, Akhilesh’s yatra remained a road show.
Redesigned keeping in mind security and other requirements of the CM, the 10-wheel Mercedes Benz Bus has world class interiors and is equipped with top-of-the-line gadgets and amenities.
It has bullet proof glass and is divided into two sectors — office and beyond. The office area is like a mini office of chief minister wherein the CM can hold a meeting with around five to six persons.
The other area comprises a kitchen, reclining area and plush washroom.
It has modern acoustic system and an elevator which would take the CM to the roof to interact with a larger audience.
It has a network-enabled internet facility with 4G speed to keep the twitter-savvy CM always connected.
He can also make video calls from the rath,The party has not disclosed the cost officially.

,UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today announced that he will embark on his ‘Vikas Rath Yatra’ alone from November 3 which will make him skip the party’s silver jubilee celebrations slated to begin two days later.
In a letter to his father and party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Chief Minister declared his intention to commence his yatra, which was put off last month after the open turf war with his uncle Shivpal Yadav, saying all political parties have already started their campaign for the Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh.
Akhilesh has also sent copies of the letter to state party chief Shivpal Yadav and National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav
Earlier in the day, Akhilesh, Shivpal Yadav, and Mulayam held a closed-door meeting at party supremo’s 5 Vikramaditya Marg residence to discuss poll strategy.
Akhilesh had earlier announced his decision to take out the yatra from October 3 through his twitter handle with a picture in which he was seen sitting inside a bus.
He had last month hit back over his removal from the party post by stripping Shivpal of his key ministerial portfolios but had to retreat as Mulayam stepped in.
The infighting continues unabated with Mulayam siding with Shivpal and his cousin Ram Gopal throwing his weight behind the the Chief Minister. The distribution of tickets and whether Akhilesh should be projected as CM candidate remain a bone of contention
