किंगफिशर विजय माल्या की एयरलाइंस के इंजीनियरों और पायलटों की हड़ताल के बाद सोमवार देर रात आंशिक तालाबंदी की घोषणा करते हुए कम्पनी ने तत्काल प्रभाव से अपनी सभी उड़ानें गुरुवार तक के लिए स्थगित कर दी हैं। सोमवार को सभी 50 उड़ानें रद होने से यात्रियों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा।
एयरलाइंस ने कर्मिओं के एक वर्ग पर हिंसा फैलाने+ धमकाने+उत्पीड़न और प्रबंधकों को गलत तरीके से रोके जाने का आरोप लगाया है| ऐसे कई कृत्यों के चलते कंपनी की तालाबंदी को मजबूरी बताया गया है| अगले तीन दिन तक के लिए सभी उड़ानों का संचालन स्थगित किया गया है। गौरतलब है की पिछले सात महीनो से अपने वेतन के लिए प्रतीक्षा कर रहे अभियंताओं के एक गुट ने दिल्ली +मुम्बई और चेन्नई में हड़ताल कर दी है| इस हड़ताल से इन तीनो एयर पोर्ट्स पर लगभग ५० उड़ाने रद्द करनी पड़ी हैं| इससे पहले नागरिक विमानन मंत्री अजित सिंह ने चेतावनी दी थी कि यात्रियों की सुरक्षा के साथ खिलवाड़ की एयरलाइंस को इजाजत नहीं दी जाएगी।अब विमानन नियामक डीजीसीए ने भी इस एयर लाईन्स की कार्यप्रणाली व उड़ान व्यवस्था की जांच शुरू कर दी है। वह जल्द ही मंत्रालय को रिपोर्ट सौंपेगा। नकदी संकट से जूझ रही किंगफिशर अपने कर्मचारियों को इस साल मार्च से ही वेतन नहीं दे पा रही है। इस वजह से इंजीनियरों ने शुक्रवार देर रात से काम पर आना बंद कर दिया था। सोमवार से पायलट भी इस हड़ताल में शामिल हो गए। इस वजह से कंपनी को दिल्ली से मुंबई+ पुणे+ श्रीनगर+ जम्मू+ देहरादून+ धर्मशाला+मुंबई+चेन्नई और बेंगलूर समेत सभी उड़ानों को रद कर दिया गया।

इस एयर लाईन्स की इतनी गिरावट पर एक सवाल जरूर पूछा जा रहा है कि एन सी पी कोटे के सिविल एविएशन मंत्री प्रफुल्ल पटेल के जाने के बाद अचानक ऐसा क्या हो गया कि किंग फिशर एयर लाईन्स लगातार विवाद+घाटा और विरोधों की फिशिंग करती दिखाई दे रही है

चौधरी अजित सिंह ने कहा है कि मौजूदा हालात में किंगफिशर की उड़ानों को इजाजत नहीं दी जा सकती। कुछ रोज पहले ही उन्होंने चेतावनी दी थी कि किंगफिशर को रोजाना कम से कम पांच विमान उड़ानें होंगे, वरना उसका लाइसेंस रद कर दिया जाएगा। माली हालत खराब होने के चलते मार्च से एयरलाइंस ने नए शड्यूल के तहत रोजाना महज 14 विमान उड़ानें का फैसला किया था। मगर उसके बाद बार-बार हड़ताल के कारण यह भी संभव नहीं हो पाया तो कंपनी ने सात विमानों के जरिये रोजाना 50 उड़ानों का संचालन करना शुरू किया था।
किंगफिशर पिछले कई सालों से वित्तीय संकट से जूझ रही है। पिछले एक साल से यह संकट और गहरा गया है। कंपनी पर 7000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का कर्ज है|६४ करोड़ रुपयों का सर्विस टेक्स है जिसकी अदायगी वह नहीं कर पा रही है।कम्पनी के चेक बाउंस हो रहे है|कर्मी हड़ताल पर जा रहे हैं|कंपनी के शेयर कोई ख़ास करिश्मा नहीं दिखा पा रहे हैं| इस साल जनवरी से बैंकों को कर्ज की एक भी किस्त अदा नहीं की गई है। इस एयर लाईन्स की इतनी गिरावट पर एक सवाल जरूर पूछा जा रहा है कि एन सी पी कोटे के सिविल एविएशन मंत्री प्रफुल्ल पटेल के जाने के बाद अचानक ऐसा क्या हो गया कि किंग फिशर एयर लाईन्स लगातार विवाद+घाटा और विरोधों की फिशिंग करती दिखाई दे रही है
