[Chennai,TN]Central Govt To Reissue Passport, Damaged In Flood,Free Of Cost
Passport office has announced this scheme today
Govt has announced a special scheme for “prompt re-issue” of passports, which were damaged in floods, at free-of-cost in Chennai and other districts.
The special scheme, to be effective from tomorrow would be valid for two months
A special “passport mela” for flood victims would also be conducted on December 12 and at three Passport Seva Kendras functioning in Chennai.
As per Passport Office , the applicant does not require to submit online application. “An application on plain paper and the flood damaged passport are required
