Delhi Police Today Worked Out 19 Cases Arresting Two Auto Lifters Involved In 100 car Thefts
Police teams of PS R.K.Puram, South District have arrested two notorious auto lifters namely
[1] Imran,age 30 years and
[2]Salman, age 22years,
both residents of Sundar Nagri, Nand Nagri, Delhi and recovered
5 stolen cars,
25 engines of stolen cars,
11 CNG Kits,
20 car batteries,
109 tyres withrim and other dismantled body parts of stolen cars
and solved 25 cases of motorvehicle theft of North-East, East, South East, South, Ghaziabad and Noida.
The modus operandi of the gang is that they used to conduct reccee in the area to commit auto thefts. They used to carry tool kits i.e. drill machine with charger, battery, different types of screw drivers, screw openers,sharpener (Reti) and bunch of keys of different model of vehicles.
After identifying a vehicle for theft, they would easily open the lock with the help of tool kit and will remove the same within minutes from that area.
Thereafter, they would take the stolen vehicle to the godown and withinan hour, they will dismantle the stolen car in parts and will dispose to scrap dealers.
They used to dispose the vehicles to their known receivers only to avoid being caught by police.

[1]Imran,age 30 years r/o Sundar Nagri, Nand Nagri is illiterate. He works in a car workshop in car market, Sundar Nagri, Delhi. Zahir and Chotte who work at the same place induced him to commit car theft to get quick money.
[2]Salman,age 22 years r/o Sundar Nagri, Nand Nagri is illeterate . He works in a car workshop in car market, Sundar Nagri, Delhi.
He is native of Aligarh and cameto Delhi to employment. Earlier he used to work as labour with Zahir andChotte. Zahir and Chotte who work at the same place, induced him to earn quickmoney, he joined them and started dismantling the stolen cars in the godown
