In this week’s address, President Obama wished America’s dads a happy Father’s Day and underscored the crucial role fathers play in the society. The President encouraged Americans to support those living without a father figure through initiatives like My Brother’s Keeper.
Obama also highlighted actions he is taking on behalf of hardworking, responsible dads and moms, such as hosting the first-ever White House Working Families Summit later this month, and called on Congress to do its part to help offer more parents the chance to work hard and provide for their families.

चौधरी अजित सिंह की छपरौली को हरियाणा से जोड़ने के लिए हाई लेवल पुल के निर्माण की मंजूरी का जयंत चौधरी ने स्वागत किया है | यह पुल यमुना नदी पर बनेगा|यह परियोजना हरियाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश को जोड़ेगी। इससे दोनों प्रदेशों के ग्रामीणों एवं किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा।
बागपत संसदीय क्षेत्र के छपरौली में यमुना पर पुल के निर्माण के लिए अखिलेश यादव और भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा द्वारा करार [ MOU ] पर आज हस्ताक्षर हुए| इस पर राष्ट्रीय लोकदल[रालोद] महासचिव पूर्व सांसद जयन्त चौधरी ने खुशी जताई है। जयंत चौधरी ने आशा व्यक्त की है कि यूं पी और हरियाणा राज्यों की सरकारों की मंजूरी के बाद यमुना पर पुल का निर्माण जल्द ही शुरू हो जाएगा।
जयंत चौधरी ने बताया कि यह पुल रालोद अध्यक्ष चौधरी अजित सिंह के लिए ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट है। इसके लिए उन्होंने पिछली सरकार में केन्द्रीय मंत्री रहते हुए दोनों प्रदेशों के मुख्यमंत्रियों को पत्र लिखा था।
इस अवसर पर लोकसभा सांसद दीपेन्द्र सिंह हुड्डा ने रालोद अध्यक्ष और पूर्व सांसद चौधरी अजित सिंह को बधाई दी है। उन्होंने कहा है यह परियोजना काफी लम्बे समय से प्रस्तावित थी।
गौरतलब है कि आज उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्य मंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने, पुल के निर्माण को, पड़ौसी राज्य के मुख्य मंत्री बी इस हुड्डा के साथ एक एम ओ यूं साइन किया | यह हाई लेवल पुल यमुना नदी पर बनेगा और इससे लगभग १० लाख लोगों को लाभ मिलने का दावा किया गया है|

In a major boost to technical education & engineering programs, India today joined a select group of 17 countries who are permanent signatories of the Washington Accord (WA).
The meeting of the International Engineering Alliance of WA member countries met in Wellington, New Zealand this morning and gave India the signatory status with effect from today. Washington Accord is an international agreement amongst prominent nations of the World, with the charter of promoting mobility and quality assurance of engineers across international boundaries. The charter requires that nations set up suitable accreditation standards, which would ensure a minimum quality of attainment for their engineering graduates.
Union Minster of Human Resource Development Smt Smriti Zubin Irani has congratulated the officials of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the National Board of Accreditation, and said that “this will ensure highest quality assurance standards to be implemented in our technical and engineering programmes and provide global mobility to our engineering graduates.” She said that “Graduates having degrees, which have been so accredited, would have substantial international equivalence of their achievement levels across the signatory nations.This will substantially enhance their employment opportunities around the world”.
The Washington Accord was signed by the National Board of Accreditation, India, an accrediting body with the mandate for accreditation of engineering and other technical programs at all levels in the country and making technical education outcome based.
The International Engineering Alliance (IEA), Secretariat of the Washington Accord, sent a Review Team in December 2013 and January 2014, to carry out a comprehensive review and audit of NBA accreditation systems and practices. The Review team submitted its report in March 2014

भारत को खेलों की मुख्य धारा में लाने के लिए प्रधान मंत्री ने फीफा स्मारक डाक टिकट जारी किया और नारा दिया “जो खेले,वो ही खिले”
ब्राजील में खेले जा रहे फुटबॉल विश्व कप का बुखार भारत के सर पर भी चढ़ कर बोल रहा है|इसीलिए इस खेल के माध्यम से भारत को भी खेलों की मुख्य धारा में लाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2014 फीफा विश्व कप पर स्मारक डाक टिकट जारी किया और भारतीय फुटबॉल के इतिहास पर एक वेबसाईट भी तैयार करने की मांग की।
इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि खेल विश्व के देशों के बीच मैत्री और निकट संबंध की भावना कायम करता है। उन्होंने कामना करते हुए कहा कि फीफा विश्व कप देशों को एक साथ जोड़ने में एक सेतु काम करे।
प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि भारत अंडर-17 फीफा विश्व कप की मेजबानी की तैयारी में जुटा है और फुटबॉल के क्षेत्र में भारत का शानदार इतिहास रहा है। एक समय में यह देश भर में एक प्रमुख खेल था।

बच्चों के बीच खेल के प्रति लगाव बढ़ाने की जरूरत पर जोर देते हुए प्रधानमंत्री महोदय ने कहा- ” जो खेले, वो ही खिले” । खेल बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास में मददगार है। ‘खिलाड़ी उत्साह’ पद की चर्चा करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने विश्व के अनगिनत खिलाड़ियों के जोश और उत्साह की याद दिलाई और इसके परिणामस्वरूप इस पद को व्यापक स्वीकार्यता मिली। यदि कोई खेल नहीं होता तो समाज में ‘खिलाड़ी उत्साह’ कैसे होता। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘खिलाड़ी उत्साह’ समाज के उत्साह के लिए एक अधिवर्द्धक है, जिसे बढ़ावा देना अनिवार्य है।
इस कार्यक्रम में के. मल्लेश्वरी+ राज्यवर्धन सिंह राठौर+ सुनील छेत्री+ सुशील कुमार+ अजीत पाल सिंह+ चुन्नी गोस्वामी+सुब्रत भट्टाचार्य + कीर्ति आजाद सहित खेल के क्षेत्र की अनेक प्रख्यात हस्तियों ने भाग लिया।

डॉ हर्षवर्धन ने मरीजों के साथ संबंध सुधारने के लिए एम्स के डॉक्टरों को प्रिस्क्रिप्शन दिया
डॉ हर्षवर्धन ने मरीजों के साथ संबंध सुधारने के लिए एम्स नई दिल्ली के डॉक्टरों को प्रिस्क्रिप्शन दिया| एम्स देश का सबसे बड़ा अस्पताल है। इसका निर्माण इस अस्पताल में हर रोज औसतन 3000 बाह्य रोगी आते हैं इसके अलावा कम से कम 4000 अन्य रोगी विभिन्न विभागों में भर्ती किए जाते हैं।
केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. हर्षवर्धन देश की राजधानी के अस्पतालों में सफाई अभियान Sanitationनिरीक्षण के दूसरे दिन जन स्वास्थ्य केन्द्रों में नई कार्य संस्कृति अपनाने के मिशन पर थे।बीते दिन उन्होंने डॉ आर एम एल अस्पताल का निरीक्षण किया था |
डॉ. हर्षवर्धन ने आज डॉक्टरों से कहा कि वे डॉक्टर-मरीज संबंध मजबूत करने की जिम्मेदारी निभाए।
उन्होंने कहा, ‘एम्स, नई दिल्ली को उपचार के उच्चस्तर को बनाये रखना चाहिए | उन्होंने आज सुबह 9 बजे सबसे पहले बाल चिकित्सा आपातकालीन वार्ड और उसके बाद कैजुअल्टी और ओपीडी के सभी विभागों का निरीक्षण किया। उनके साथ एम्स के निदेशक प्रोफेसर एम.सी.मिश्रा, चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉक्टर डी.के.शर्मा और अन्य पदाधिकारी भी थे।
उन्होंने आपातकालीन विभाग में दो रेजीडेंट डाक्टरों की तैनाती को अपर्याप्त बताया |बड़ी संख्या में मरीज और उनके रिश्तेदार भी मंत्री के पास गए और उन्हें अपनी परेशानियाँ बतायी।
एम्स के निदेशक प्रो. मिश्रा ने घोषणा की कि पर्यावरण अनुसंधान संस्था (टेरी) ने इस विशेष लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए पहले ही काम शुरू कर दिया है। अस्पताल के अंदर प्रकाश फैलाने वाले डायोड (एलईडी) लैम्पों का खुले क्षेत्रों में सौर लैम्प पोस्ट का इस्तेमाल करके 30 प्रतिशत तक ऊर्जा की बचत करने का लक्ष्य है।
नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेता श्री राजेंद्र पचौरी की अध्यक्षता में गठित शीर्ष पर्यावरण परामर्शदायी संस्था (टेरी) ने एम्स में पानी की खपत को 50 प्रतिशत कम करने और अस्पताल के शहरी गर्म द्वीप प्रभाव को कम से कम 3 डिग्री सेंटीग्रेड कम करके सूक्ष्म स्तर पर लाने का लक्ष्य रखा है। ध्वनि और धूल प्रदूषण को रोकने के लिए भी कदम उठाए जाएंगे। प्रमाणीकरण के मानदंड एक अर्ध-सरकारी एजेंसी- गृह इंडिया द्वारा निर्धारित किए गए हैं।

Narendra Modi Advised I F S Probationers To Focus On Trade+Commerce+Technology Transfer
29 Probationers Of Indian Foreign Service[IFS],called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, at 7, Race Course Road today. P M Advised them to focus on Globally expansion of trade+commerce+technology transfer This is the largest batch of the IFS, and also has the largest number of lady probationers.
Shri Modi congratulated the IFS probationers on their selection as representatives of India to the world.
Interacting with the probationers, the Prime Minister exhorted them to be well-acquainted with India’s history, and its historical links with various countries of the world. Shri Modi said the probationers should reflect the essence of India’s image and self-esteem, as they take up their assignments across the world. He added that as members of the Foreign Service, they should also motivate the Indian diaspora to take pride in India.
The P M said that the focus should be on expansion of trade and commerce, and technology transfer. He said India needs to concentrate on ‘zero-defect manufacturing’ and ‘packaging and presentation’, to boost its exports. Giving an illustration, he said Indian herbal medicines were among the best in the world, but are lagging behind Chinese products due to poor packaging. Similarly, the huge diversity and range of Indian handicrafts has not been presented properly to the world. The Prime Minister exhorted the Officer-Trainees to become catalytic agents to convey the strengths of India to the world, so that mutually beneficial exchanges can take place.
Shri Ajit Doval, NSA, Shri Nripendra Misra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Smt. Sujatha Singh, Foreign Secretary, were present at the interaction.

इंफोसिस ने कारोबार बढ़ाने के लिए “बाहर” के विशाल सिक्का पर भरोसा जताया
कारोबार में संघर्षरत इंफोसिस[Infosys] ने कंपनी से बाहर से नए सी ई ओ+एम डी के पद पर विशाल सिक्का[ VishalSikka ] का चयन किया| अगस्त माह से विशाल सिक्का इंफोसिस के नए सीईओ और एमडी होंगे| श्री सिक्का पहले एसएपी [ SAP ]में काम कर चुके हैं।गौरतलब है कि ऐसा पहली बार होगा कि इंफोसिस ने बाहर से किसी शख्स पर भरोसा किया है |
दरअसल, पिछले दो सालों में इंफोसिस अपना कारोबार बढ़ाने के लिए संघर्ष कर रही है, पिछले कुछ महीनों में इंफोसिस के दस से ज्यादा टॉप मैनेजर कंपनी से इस्तीफा दे चुके हैं। नारायणमूर्ति भी 14 जून से एग्जक्यूटिव चेयरमैन पद छोड़ देंगे।

महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए केंद्र द्वारा प्रत्येक जिले से प्रतिवर्ष एक महिला को पुरस्कृत किया जायेगा
महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए महिला और बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा प्रत्येक जिले से प्रतिवर्ष एक महिला को पुरस्कृत किया जायेगा|इस पुरस्कार में 25 हजार रूपये की नकद राशि तथा एक प्रशस्ति पत्र दिया जायेगा।
केंद्रीय महिला और बाल विकास मंत्री श्रीमती मेनका संजय गांधी ने महिला सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय कार्य के लिए प्रत्येक जिले से प्रतिवर्ष एक महिला को पुरस्कृतकिये जाने की घोषणा की है |
इस घोषणा के अनुसार राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं के योगदान को मान्यता देने के लिए स्त्री शक्ति पुरस्कारों की भांति महिलाओं के मुद्दों तथा सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष देश के प्रति जिले से एक महिला को आठ मार्च को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के दिन पुरस्कृत किया जायेगा।
श्रीमती गांधी ने कहा कि सामुदायिक विकास एवं राष्ट्र निर्माण की दिशा में स्थानीय स्तर पर गतिविधियों को संचालित करने में महिलाओं को मदद मिलेगी और इसके साथ ही इस पुरस्कार से क्षेत्र स्तर पर उत्कृट योगदान करने वाली महिलाओं को पहचान मिलेगी। इससे समाज में उनका मनोबल बढ़ेगा और इनकी भांति काम करने की अन्य महिलाओं को भी प्ररेणा प्राप्त होगी। यह पुरस्कार देशभर के प्रत्येक जिले की एक लड़की अथवा महिला को प्रदान किया जायेगा।
पुरस्कार के चयन के संबंध में एक जांच सूची जिला स्तरीय समितियों को उपलब्ध कराई जायेगी।
