[Chandigarh,Punjab]14 IPS Officers Shuffled in Punjab.The new Commissioner of Police of Amritsar will be G Nageshwara Rao.
Election Commission today transferred 14 IPS officers in Punjab, where polling for the assembly election is scheduled for February 4.
The commission shifted SSP of nine districts –
Muktsar,
Tarn Tarn,
Ferozepur,
Patiala,
Batala,
Fazilka,
Faridkot,
Kapurthala, and
Mansa,
Among the transferred officers included three IGPs.
While Nilabh Kishore will be the new IGP Bathinda zone,
B Chandrasekhar will be new IGP Patiala zone.
Besides, Amit Prasad will be new IGP Intelligence.
