[Chandigarh,Punjab]Four IAS Officers Transferred One Dy SP Suspended In Punjab.Dy Commissioners Of Amritsar And Kapurthala are Reshuffled.
The Punjab Government has issued transfer and posting orders of 4 I A S officers with immediate effect.
[1] Varun Roojam, Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar has been placed at the disposal of the department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority, SAS Nagar.
[2]Jaskiran Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur.
[3]Ashwani Kumar has been transferred as State Transport Commissioner, Punjab against a vacant post and in addition Special Principal Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab.
[4] . Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Tarn Taran.
Raj Kapoor, DSP Tapa under suspension with immediate effect for negligence in performance of his duties.
During suspension he been put on the disposal of DIG Patiala Range who will conduct a preliminary enquiry and submit a report to the Police Headquarters.
. Gurvinder Singh, DSP Investigation Barnala, will hold the charge of DSP Tapa, in addition to his duties, till the posting of a new incumbent.
