ऊँचा अगम अपार प्रभु कथनु न जाइ अकथु ।
नानक प्रभ सरणागति राखन कउ समरथु ।
भाव :हे प्रभु ! तुम अगम और अपार हो , अकथ हो और किसी प्रकार कथन में नहीं आ सकते । मैं तुम्हारी शरणागत हूँ और तुम ही रखने में समर्थ हो ।
तुधु आगै अरदासि हमारी जीउ पिंडु सभु तेरा ।
कहु नानक सभ तेरी वडिआई कोई नाउ न जाणे मेरा।
भाव : जीव पिंड सब तुमको अर्पण करके तुम से ही प्रार्थना है ।यह सब तुम्हारा ही प्रताप है , नहीं तो मुझे कौन जानता है ।
