भाव : पलटू साहिब ने आध्यात्म मार्ग की यात्रा का वर्णन इस प्रकार किया है। उन्होंने मानव शरीर को ‘ उलटा कुआं ‘ कहा है , जिसका जल , अर्थात जीवन स्रोत ऊपर है । गगन अथवा शिखर इसका नौ द्वारों से ऊपर सीस में है । नौ द्वारों से ऊपर जाओ तो उस करण – कारण प्रभु सत्ता या नाम के दर्शन होते हैं , जिसकी अभिव्यक्ति के दो स्वरूप हैं -ज्योति और श्रुति । उनसे जुड़ कर आत्मा दिव्य मण्डलों के पार निज धाम , प्रभु के धाम पहुँच कर उसमे समां जाती है ।
