[New Delhi]Stop Live Telecast Of Anti Terrorist Operation In J&K :I&B To TV Channels
The I&B Ministry has issued an advisory to all TV channels not to broadcast live anti- terrorist operations to avoid any adverse impact on rescue exercise.
The advisory came in the wake of some TV channels covering live anti-terrorist operations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on March 20.
The Ministry asked the TV channels not to focus on location+strength+movement+strategy and other related operations being followed by security forces engaging with the terrorists.
It may be added that during Mumbai attack On 26/11/2008 Many TV Channels Gave Minute to minute details of OperationOn the basis of which terrorists were guided by their masters from Pakistan The locations targeted were Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus railway station+Leopold Café+Taj Mahal Palace +Tower Hotel+Oberoi Trident Hotel+Metro Cinema+C&A Hospital and Nariman House.
Pakistani [10]men associated with the terror group Lashkar-e-Tayyiba stormed these buildings and killed 164 people. Nine of the gunmen were killed during the attacks, . Mohammed Ajmal Kasab,lone surviving gunman, was executed in India in November 2012.

“We remember the horrific terror attacks in Mumbai on this day in 2008 and pay homage to the innocent men and women who lost their lives. We salute the brave security personnel who laid down their lives to protect several lives on that fateful day. They are our true heroes. Today is a day to reaffirm our commitment to work together to combat the menace of terror and uproot it from the face of humankind,” the Prime Minister said.
