A man has been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle into the country gold valued at about Rs 1 crore at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA)
Acting on inputs received from Delhi Police, customs officials intercepted the accused on his arrival from Dubai.
On detailed examination, he was allegedly found carrying 500 gold coins weighing 3.9 kg,
The value of the seized gold is assessed at Rs 99.17 lakh,

Customs officials today seized 3.32 kg gold from two passengers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad while they were allegedly trying to smuggle the yellow metal by concealing it in their shoes.
As per Custom Officer ,These two passengers arrived by a flight from Dubai in the early hours today and during the scan, the customs officials found that they had concealed the gold powder in a plastic that was attached with the sole in their shoes

A Delhiites Flier Coming From Dubai has been arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport here for allegedly trying to smuggle into the country gold bars valued at about Rs 34 lakh.
The 32-year-old accused was intercepted by customs officials after his arrival from Dubai on Monday.
As per Press Release Issued ,today, By Customs ,gold bars and rods weighing 1.4 kg were recovered,
The value of the gold is assessed to be Rs 34.2 lakh.
