Badal had taken ill when he was on a visit to Nawanshahr and was shifted to PGIMER from a hospital on January 22.

As per CM Office ,88-year-old Badal, was discharged this morning following remarkable recovery from chest infection,
A team of doctors, having examined him thoroughly, decided to discharge him from the hospital as the infection in his chest has almost cleared and was fine now,
However, the doctors advised Badal to refrain from vigorous travelling and exposure to intense cold.
The doctors have also advised him to take rest and maintain restriction over the entry of visitors calling on him to inquire about his well being as a precautionary measure.

The 88-year-old Leader suffered from chest spasm after he had just concluded the Sangat Darshan at village Behloor Kalan yesterday.
He was taken to a private hospital at Nawanshahr for a check-up from where he was shifted to the PGIMER.
officials at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) said.
“Badal, who spent the night in the hospital, was kept under observation and after necessary examination the doctors will take a call on discharging him.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal called on the bereaved family of Nek Chand, the creator of Rock Garden, to express condolences on his demise last week.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family especially Chand’s son Anuj Saini at his residence in Sector 27, the Chief Minister appreciated the outstanding contribution of Nek Chand in promoting art and culture through the creation of Rock Garden.
He said that Rock Garden was a world class architectural marvel, which would ever immortalize him in the hearts of millions of his admirers.
Nek Chand, 90, died here last week following illness.Chand had been ailing for the past few days and was admitted to a private hospital here.
He was later shifted to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), where he passed away.
He is survived by his wife Kamla, son Anuj and daughter Neelam.
