Megastar Amitabh Bachchan injured his rib cage while shooting for his upcoming drama “TE3N” but assured fans not to worry.
The 73-year-old actor said he suffered the injury last night and is taking pain killers.
“No nothing to worry… I have injured my rib cage, it pains and so when I breathe it hurts. Am doing ice-pack and pain-killers, spoken to my doctor… should take 48 hours to heal, he says. Else we do X-Ray or MRI or whatever he decides,” Bachchan posted on his blog.
The “Piku” star has been shooting the film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan for sometime now.
Despite the injury, the actor will be taking his friends and fans to watch “Wazir”, which releases tomorrow.

Police ,Today,used force to disperse and round up a group of about 40 FTII students protesting against TV actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan who is expected to take charge as the institute’s Chairman today.
Notwithstanding a warning issued by police yesterday to maintain peace on the eve of the first meeting of the new FTII Society headed by Chauhan, members of FTII Students Federation (FSA) staged a protest demonstration at the institute’s gate shouting “Gajendra Chauhan go back” which led to a scuffle between the students and police.”We have been brutally targeted by police who lathi-charged us with the knowledge of FTII administration,” alleged one of the students as he was put in a police van and whisked away.
The students of the prestigious institution here were on a strike opposing Chauhan’s appointment since June 12 last year and called it off on October 28 and returned to the classes.
An FSA representative Vikas Urs said, “We had withdrawn the strike but we have not given up our resistance to the wrong appointments. Police have attacked on our peaceful protesters in connivance with the FTII administration. Our protest will continue”.”We had asked the students to demonstrate peacefully but we had to use force because they wanted to block the way to the institute and therefore we had to detain them. We used minimum force,” said Tushar Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police who was on the spot.
The FSA has alleged that Chauhan lacks stature to head the FTII.A tough posture by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry which steadfastly refused to accept the FSA demand for removal of Chauhan, a crackdown on some students and their arrest subsequent to gherao of the institute director Prashant Pathrabe ultimately saw the long drawn out agitation by students fizzle out last year as they returned to academics.
Meanwhile, the first meeting of FTII Society scheduled to be held today at the campus, is likely to be attended among others by Anagha Ghaisas, Rahul Solapurkar, Shailesh Gupta and Narendra Pathak — the members whose appointments have been objected by the FSA for being political and allegedly lacking in merit and stature for the post.

Mehbooba, who has assumed an image of a fiery leader, started her political career in 1996 by joining Congress along with her father.

The Chief Minister breathed his last around 7.30 AM,
Sayeed, 79, is survived by his wife, three daughters including PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, and a son.
The mortal remains of the Chief Minister would be flown to Srinagar where the body will be kept for people to have the last glimpse of their leader. He is likely be buried in his ancestral village in South Kashmir.
Sayeed was admitted with complaints of fever and neck pain on December 24 after which the doctors at AIIMS diagnosed him to have sepsis, decreased blood counts and pneumonia.
He was in the Intensive Care Unit of AIIMS and during hospitalisation his platelets had dropped dangerously low. For the past few days, the Chief Minister was on a ventilator.
Sayeed took over as chief minister of PDP-BJP coalition on March 1 last year.

[New Delhi]India And Singapore Signs MOU For Cooperation In Civil Aviation
The Union Cabinet, chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its ex-post facto approval for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed in November, 2015 between Airports Authority of India (On behalf of Government of India) and Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (On behalf of Government of Singapore) in Civil Aviation during Prime Minister’s visit to Singapore.
The objective of this MoU is to establish mutual cooperation in the field of civil aviation, which will cover, to begin with, the airports of Jaipur and Ahmedabad.
This cooperation will be extended to other airports with mutual consent.
The salient features of the MoU include collaboration in Civil Aviation Sector in the areas of (a) Master-planning and design (b) Traffic development (c) Commercial development (d) Service quality improvement (e) Training and development (f) Cargo handling and Management (g) Maintenance, repair and overhaul (h) Operation and management and (i) any other areas with mutual consent.
Government of Singapore owns one of the best managed airports in the world, which has consistently maintained its ranking for last many years.
A need was felt that in order to ensure high standards of service at Ahmedabad and Jaipur airports, Airport Authority of India (AAI) may enter into operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts, either with or without the responsibility of maximization of non-aeronautical revenue in the terminal building (excluding land on city side and air side). The city side and airside will continue to be managed directly by AAI.
Globally, limited O&M contract models are prevalent for the entire airport operations. AAI has no previous experience in awarding O&M contract model of terminal buildings to other entities. In order to implement the decision, it was necessary to ensure that a suitable entity be engaged for undertaking the O&M contract at Ahmedabad and Jaipur airports.

Delhi High Court today asked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government to explain whether it is not enough to continue their odd-even vehicles scheme, slated for a fortnight till January 15, for one week.
A bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath also said the Delhi government will have to admit that they do not have sufficient public transport to ferry people which was causing inconvenience to a large section of society.
“Aren’t these six days enough for you? We have permitted the government to run this scheme for one week during which they must have collected data relating to pollution levels in the city,”
The court, however, fixed the matter for January 8 by when it has asked the government to get instructions on whether its pilot project can be reduced to a week instead of 15 days.
It also asked the government to provide data related to changes in the pollution level between January 1 and 7.
“In these six days you must have collected data related to pollution level, we think it’s sufficient for you. You will have to think about inconvenience cause to public at large,” the bench said, adding, “there is a practical difficulty.”
It also said that the court does not interfere with the policies but government must think about it as people are knocking its door complaining of inconvenience being caused.
“You (government) have to think about it. Your status report is vague and does not reveal much,” the bench said, adding, “There is no sufficient public transport. Is it really necessary to have it for 15 days?”
The court also wished to know from the government how many cabs are plying on diesel and CNG in the capital and what level of pollution were they emitting.
The court’s direction came on a batch of petitions filed by various individuals including lawyers who have challenged AAP goverment’s December 28, 2015 notification bringing into force the scheme which allows private cars with odd-numbered plates to ply on odd-numbered dates and vice-versa.
While seeking quashing of the notification, a plea filed by Delhi High Court Bar Association President Rajiv Khosla sought explanation from Delhi government on what jurisdiction it has to fix a fine of Rs 2,000 without amendment in the Motor Vehicles Act.
Opposing the move from various sections of the society, senior standing counsel Rahul Mehra, appearing for Delhi government, said “the scheme is only for 15 days and the State is equally pained by the inconvenience being caused to public

Allahabad High Court today directed that a writ petition questioning the appointment of Uttar Pradesh director general of police Javeed Ahmad by the state government be put up before a bench related to service matter cases tomorrow.
A Lucknow bench of justices Amreshwar Pratap Sahi and Attau Rahman Masoodi gave the order on the petition by activist Nutan Thakur.
Petitioner’s counsel Ashok Pandey has alleged that Ahmad was appointed superseding 13 IPS officers from the UP cadre when eight of them were available to the state government for consideration,
He claimed that the step was not in line with the Supreme Court ruling.
For the state government, Advocate General Vijay Bahadur Singh along with Additional Advocate General Bulbul Godiyal and Chief Standing Counsel Mansoor Ahmad appeared.

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने संजय दत्त की सजा कम करने वाले एक प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है जिसके फलस्वरूप पुणे की अतिसुरक्षित यरवडा केंद्रीय जेल में बंद दत्त को 27 फरवरी को रिहा किया जाएगा, |वर्ष 2013 में उच्चतम न्यायालय ने जुर्म के लिए उन्हें पांच साल जेल की सजा सुनाई थी। दत्त अब 42 महीने की बची हुई जेल की सजा पूरी कर रहे हैं।
मई 2013 में उन्हें यरवडा जेल भेजने के बाद, दत्त दो बार पेरोल पर और दो बार ही छुट्टी पर बाहर चुके हैं।
56 वर्षीय अभिनेता को 1996 में गिरफ्तार किया गया था तब उन्होंने 18 महीने जेल में गुजारे थे।
दत्त मुंबई में 1993 में हुए सिलसिलेवार बम विस्फोटों से जुड़े एक मामले में दोषी हैं।
एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के अनुसार गृह विभाग से मंजूरी मिलने के बाद दत्त को माफी जेल मैन्युल के मुताबिक दी जा रही है।
जनवरी 2015 में तय छुट्टी से देर से रिपोर्ट करने के लिए दत्त को दंडित किए बिना प्रदेश के गृह राज्य मंत्री रंजीत पाटिल ने उनको रिहा करने वाली फाइल पर हस्ताक्षर कर दिए।
दत्त को अवैध हथियार रखने के जुर्म में पांच साल की सजा सुनाई गई थी। हथियारों के इस जखीरे का इस्तेमाल 1993 में मुंबई में हुए सिलसिलेवार विस्फोटों के हिस्से के तौर पर किया जाना था, जिनमें 257 लोगों की मौत हुई।
