Former Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav passed away today at a hospital in Lucknow after prolonged illness.
Yadav (90) breathed his last at PGI Lucknow this morning,
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Public Relations and Water Resources Minister, Narottam Mishra have expressed grief over the demise of Yadav.
Yadav served as the Madhya Pradesh Governor from August 26, 2011 to September 7, 2016. The veteran Congress leader was also Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister from 1977-79.

सड़क से संसद तक गतिरोध बनाये रखने के प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं|एक तरफ संसद में बहस से भाग कर कार्यवाही बाधित की जा रही है तो दूसरी तरफ सड़कों पर जुलूस निकाले जा रहे हैं |प्रिंट+इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स मीडिया और सोशल मीडिया पर लगातार बयान बाजी जारी है
संसद की कार्यवाही चलने नहीं दी जा रही ,ऐसे में पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी का यह “अप्प” अपने आप में एक क्रन्तिकारी कदम माना जा रहा है

[New Delhi] Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in 3.63 lakh schools:HRD Minister
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), has provided 2.04 lakh primary and 1.59 lakh upper primary schools across the country to ensure universal access,
HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said today.
Universal enrollment is the first goal of SSA and all efforts are being made to bring all children, including girls, to school, he said during Question Hour in Lok Sabha, amidst noisy protests by the Opposition over demonetisation issue.
Javadekar said SSA strategies for promotion of girls education include opening of schools in the neighbourhood to make access easier for girls, appointment of additional teachers, including women teachers, free textbooks, free uniforms, separate toilets for girls, teachers sensitisation programmes to promote girls participation, gender-sensitive teaching-learning materials, including textbooks.
In addition, the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalays have been opened in educationally backward blocks where female rural literacy rate is below the national average to provide residential upper primary schools for girls from SC/ST/OBC/ Muslim and BPL families.
The Minister said under the mid-day meal scheme, central financial assistance is being provided to all states and UTs for implementation of the scheme.
Under the scheme, all states and UTs were providing mid-day meals to children, including adolescent girls studying in class-I to VIII of government, government aided, special training centres and madrasas and Maqtabs under the SSA.

कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी आज सुबह राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में कई एटीएमों पर पहुंचे जहां पर उन्होंने नये नोट निकालने के लिए कतार में लगे लोगों से बातचीत की।

सहित कई इलाकों के एटीएमों पर पहुंचे जहां पर उन्होंने केन्द्र के 500 और 1000 रूपये के नोट हटाने के निर्णय पर लोगों के समक्ष आ रही समस्याओं पर उनसे बातचीत की।
इसे पुर्व राहुल 11 नवंबर को संसद मार्ग स्थित भारतीय स्टेट बैंक भी पहुंचे थे और लोगों के साथ कतार में खडे होकर पुराने नोटों को नये नोटों में बदला था।
पिछले सप्ताह वह मुंबई के उपनगरीय वकोला में एक एटीएम पर अचानक पहुंच गये थे और कतार में खड़े लोगों से बातचीत की थी।
विमुद्रीकरण के आलोचक गांधी ने प्रधानमंत्री पर तीखा हमला शुरू करते हुये कहा कि जब लोग बैंकों और एटीएमों के बाहर रूपया निकालने के लिए कतार में मर रहे हैं तो वह ‘हंस’ रहे हैं और यह निर्णय एक ‘बड़ा घोटाला’ साबित होगा।
उन्होंने दावा किया कि पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह सहित कई अर्थशास्त्रियों ने महसूस किया कि 500 और 1000 रूपये के नोटों को वापस लेने का फैसला तर्कहीन है और ऐसा नहीं लग रहा है कि विजय माल्या और ललित मोदी जैसे काले धन के ‘बड़े खिलाड़ियों’ के खिलाफ सरकार कुछ कर रही है

स्वराज इंडिया ने आम लोगों के बीच जा जाकर “नोटबंदी पर नुक्कड़ जनसुनवाई” का आयोजन रविवार को भी जारी रखा।
जनसुनवाई का आयोजन दिल्ली के लगभग 100 नुक्कड़ों पर किया गया, जहां निम्नलिखित तीन बिंदुओं पर जनता से संवाद किया गया।
1. नोटबंदी का आप, आपके परिवार, आपके काम धंधे पर क्या असर हुआ?
2. क्या जनता की परेशानी काम हो सकती थी? या और कोई रास्ता ही नहीं था?
3. अब भी सरकार क्या करे जिससे जनता की तकलीफ़ दूर हो सके?
नोटबंदी पर नुक्कड़ जनसुनवाई के दौरान हर तरह के विचार सामने आये। इन बिंदुओं पर खुल कर लोगों ने अपनी बात रखी। जिससे स्पष्ट हुआ कि जनता इस निर्णय का समर्थन करे या विरोध लेकिन परेशानी तो हुई है।
स्वराज इंडिया ने हमेशा से किसी भी निर्णय का अंध-समर्थन या अंध-विरोध करने की बजाए देश हित की बात सबसे आगे रखी है। नोटबंदी के मसले पर भी स्वराज इंडिया ने सरकार की घोषणा का समर्थन किया, लेकिन ख़राब तैयारी और ढुल मुल क्रियान्वयन के कारण देश भर में हो रही परेशानी को भी सबके सामने रखा।
स्वराज इंडिया ने पिछले दिनों के अनुभव को देखते हुए देश के सामने एक सकारात्मक सुझाव रखा है। ऐसे समय में जब किसी सार्थक समाधान की बजाये सिर्फ़ आरोप प्रत्यारोप की राजनीति हो रही है, स्वराज इंडिया का प्रस्ताव देश की जनता की परेशानी और पीड़ा को हल करने में मददगार होगा।
पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र यादव ने सरकार से मांग करते हुए कहा, “नोटबंदी की योजना को 31 दिसंबर से लागू किया जाए और तब तक सभी लोगों को पुराने नोट इस्तेमाल करने की छूट दे दी जाए। यानि जो छूट अभी रेल, पेट्रोल पम्प, सरकारी हस्पताल आदि को है, वो सभी को दे दिया जाए। सरकार चाहे तो इसकी कोई लिमिट बाँध दे ताकि कालेधन के बड़े खेल खेलने वाले फ़ायदा ना उठा सकें। लेकिन मेहनत की कमाई खाने वाले बिना परेशानी के अपने पुराने नोट बदल लें।
इससे काला धन पूरी तरह तो नहीं रुकेगा। इतने दिनों में कई काला धन वाले उसे सफ़ेद करने की तरकीब बना लेंगे। ये हो सकता है। लेकिन सरकार की वर्तमान नोटबंदी से भी तो फ़िलहाल यही हो रहा है। जाली नोट जरूर रुक रहे हैं, लेकिन जो काला धन कैश में लेकर बैठा है वो अपने नोटों को कहीं न कहीं से ‘ऐडजस्ट’ तो कर ही रहा है। असली परेशानी तो सिर्फ आम जनता को हो रही है। कितना अच्छा हो अगर सरकार इस सच को मान ले। उधर विपक्ष वाले भी नोटबंदी को वापिस लेने जैसी बातें बंद कर दें और इस घोषणा से जो फायदे सचमुच हो सकते हैं वो होने दें।
स्वराज इंडिया ने साथ ही मांग किया कि अब सरकार काला धन रोकने के लिए जल्द से जल्द बाक़ी बड़े कदम उठाये – जैसे मॉरीशस की खिड़की को बंद करे, विदेशों में जमा काला धन वापिस लाये, पी-नोट पर पाबन्दी लगाए, भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी कानून को कमजोर न करे, पार्टियों की विदेशी फंडिंग पर रोक लगाए, पूंजीपतियों का क़र्ज़ माफ़ी ना हो, लोकपाल की नियुक्ति करे

One person was held today at the IGI airport for allegedly carrying three live bullets in his baggage.
Officials said the incident was reported at about 6:30 AM from Terminal-3 of the airport when a passenger, identified as B K Sharma, was getting his security checks done and on-duty CISF personnel recovered three live rounds of .32mm from his bag.
Carrying of arms and ammunition in an aircraft is prohibited under the law.

प्रधान मंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज प्रधान मंत्री आवास योजना – ग्रामीण का शुभारंभ आगरा से किया
इस यौजना के अन्तर्गत सभी ग्रामीण परिवारों को वर्ष 2022 तक पर्यावरणीय रूप से सुरक्षित व पक्के घर उपलब्ध कराने का प्रावधान है। नवीन योजना के माध्यम से लाभार्थी को प्रति इकाई लगभग 1.50-1.60 लाख रु. उपलब्ध होंगे। लाभार्थी की इच्छा पर रु. 70,000 की राशि के ऋण का भी प्रावधान है। प्रधान मंत्री ने मंच के पास प्रदर्शित कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत विभिन्न क्षेत्रों की आवश्यकतानुसार तैयार किए गए 200 से अधिक भवन डिजाइन में से लगभग 40 डिजाइनों का अवलोकन किया तथा ग्रामीण राजमिस्त्री प्रशिक्षण सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण करने वाले उम्मीदवारों से मुलाकात की। प्रधान मंत्री ने आगरा जिले के लाभान्वितों को प्रधान मंत्री आवास योजना – ग्रामीण के अंतर्गत स्वीकृति पत्र भी दिए |

A proctorial enquiry by JNU has found ABVP member Vikrant Kumar guilty of assaulting Najeeb Ahmed during a brawl following which the latter went missing over a month ago.
Najeeb (27), a student of School of Biotechnology and a native of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, went missing on October 15 following an on-campus scuffle allegedly with the members of ABVP, including Vikrant, the night before.
JNU had ordered a proctorial enquiry into the incident.
Vikrant has been asked to explain why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him.
ABVP has, meanwhile, come out in Vikrant’s support and accused the university administration of being “biased” in conducting the enquiry.
JNU students and teachers have been agitating against the university administration and Delhi Police for their failure to locate the missing student.
The protesting students had even confined the Vice Chancellor and other senior officials in the administrative building for over 20 hours.
Last month, an SIT was formed to trace the missing student on the directive of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma.
The SIT, headed by Additional DCP-II(South) Manishi Chandra, failed to get any actionable clues in the matter.
The case was later transferred to Delhi Police’s Crime Branch.

Delhi police to set up new control room for phone no 112
Delhi Police is in the process of setting up a separate control room for handling calls on phone number 112, which will be India’s equivalent of 911 of the USA’s all-in-one emergency services.
Sources said top Delhi Police officials are looking at logistical requirements for the new helpline and a place where the control room can be set up.
“The police control room is located at the police headquarters in ITO area but The new control room will be coming up somewhere at Haiderpur,” said a senior police officer.
The 112 emergency helpline will be the go-to solution for availing all kinds of emergency services like fire control and ambulances.
The Ministry of Home Affairs is monitoring the implementation of the proposed service and every state has been given necessary funds. Sources said Delhi has received Rs 12 crore for rolling out 112 emergency helpline.
