The Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has congratulated Sonia Gandhi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi on the party’s excellent performance in the Assembly elections, for which results were announced today.
Congress has registered victory on four Assembly seats, including Shahkot in Punjab

A clear sign of things to come.” Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted after the Cabinet meeting, which noted, with satisfaction, the revival of the Congress in recent months.
