[New Delhi] PM bows to Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, on his birth anniversary
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has bowed to Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, on his birth anniversary.

“राष्ट्रकवि दिनकर जी को उनकी जयंती पर नमन। हिन्दी भाषा व साहित्य के क्षेत्र में उनका योगदान अमूल्य है। उनकी रचनाओं ने देश को प्रेरित किया।”,
Shri Dinkar initially supported the revolutionary movement during the Indian independence struggle, but later became a Gandhian.
He was elected three times to the Rajya Sabha+was the member of this house from 3 April 1952 CE to 26 January 1964 CE,and was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1959 He was also the Vice-Chancellor of Bhagalpur University (Bhagalpur, Bihar) in the early 1960s.
