केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री सलमान खुर्शीद ने आज प्रेस कांफ्रेस बुलाई जिसमे सफाई देने के लिए उन्होंने तस्वीरों, अखबारों की कतरनों और लोगों[रंगी मिस्त्री] को अपनी प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में लाकर खुद पर लगे तमाम आरोपों को बेबुनियाद बताया। उन्होंने कैम्प नहीं होने के आरोपों के खारिज किया और स्टिंग करने वाले पत्रकारों को ब्लैक मेलर और अरविन्द केजरीवाल को रास्ते का आदमी कह कर अपनी खीझ भी उतारी| कई बार अपना सयम भी खोया और बीच बीच में पानी पीते रहेउनकी पत्नि श्रीमती लुइस और उनके सहयोगी उन्हें नियंत्रित करते देखे गए| लेकिन इस अवसर पर केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने अरविन्द केजरीवाल के आरोपों का जवाब यह कहते हुए देने से मना कर दिया कि रास्ते के आदमी का जवाब नहीं दूंगा| इसके बाद एक निजी चैनल से बातचीत के दौरान जब उनसे अरविंद केजरीवाल को गंदी नाली का कीड़ा कहे जाने पर प्रश्न किया तो सलमान खुर्शीद ने जवाब दिया, ‘मैंने पूरे होश में केजरीवाल को गटर स्नाइप कहा था। ‘गटर स्नाइप’ कीड़े से भी ज्यादा खतरनाक होता है, यह नाली के सांप होते हैं।’

साथ ही केजरीवाल ने कहा कि यह पूरा मामला साल 2009 से लेकर मार्च 2010 का है, जबकि खुर्शीद ने जुलाई 2010 के डॉक्युमेंट्स और तस्वीरें पेश की हैं.वहीं खुर्शीद को जवाब देते हुए अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि आगामी चुनावों में एक विकलांग उम्मीदवार ही सलमान खुर्शीद को हरा देगा, अगर वो अभी इस्तीफा नहीं देंगे तो 2014 में जनता उनकी जमानत जब्त कर लेगी। .
