[Chandigarh] C M Demands Uninterrupted Power Supply in Night Hours During Summer Season
.Haryana Cf M M L Khattar today directed the power department to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the State especially in night hours in view of the ongoing summer season.
Presiding over a meeting of Power Department today, he also directed the senior officials to keep a check on unscheduled power cuts and tripping.
At present, there are about 7000 feeders in the State.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister also reviewed the process for setting up of 800 MW Super Critical Unit at Panipat Thermal Power Station in place of its four old units.
The Centre has already approved transfer of coal linkage for this proposed unit, it was informed in the meeting, in which state Finance Minister, Abhimanyu was also present.
