The President ,Vice President and Prime Minister Of India Has Greeted Nation On The on the occasion of Onam .

Coinciding with the harvest season, Onam marks a joyful completion of human efforts, with a prayerful optimism for the future. People of all religion, caste and community celebrate the festival with equal joy, underlining the secular fabric of our society.
This unique festival brings out the rich cultural heritage of Kerala in it’s best form and spirit. On this day, may the joy of Kerala extend to the whole of India bringing peace and harmony to all.”
[2]The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, said Onam is a celebration of life and hope and a remembrance of the legendary and joyous past. The festival also heralds the harvest season and is a mark of the secular traditions of Kerala.
