प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने मंगलवार को यू.के. की प्रधानमंत्री थेरेसा से फोन पर बातचीत की। प्रधानमंत्री ने उन्हें नया पदभार संभालने पर बधाई दी।
पीएम् ने गत वर्ष नवंबर में यू.के. की अपनी यादगार यात्रा का स्मरण किया और दोनों देशों के मध्य रणनीतिक सांझेदारी को मजबूत करने की भारत की प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया। उन्होंने विभिन्न वैश्विक मंचों पर भारत के लिए यू.के. के समर्थन की भी प्रशंसा की।
