As per Dy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal ,Shiromani Akali Dal will announce its candidates for the 2017 Assembly elections within the next two weeks,
After welcoming the Congress leader Seth Satpal Mall into the party fold, Badal said the SAD has already conveyed to its probable candidates and the official announcement would also be made soon.
Replying to a question about the announcement of VAT rationalization in the manifesto of AAP which was launched yesterday, Badal said Kejriwal should “stop fooling people by releasing visionless manifestos”.
“Everyone knows that GST is all set to replace the VAT across the nation from the next financial year but Kejriwal is talking about VAT, which shows his (lack of) common understanding about the issues pertaining to society,” he said.
Describing Congress as “a sinking ship”, the Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab claimed that more Congress leaders would join SAD in the coming days as they were feeling “stifled” in Congress due to “factionalism”.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने ‘तीन तलाक’ के संवेदनशील विषय पर पहली बार मुखर होते हुए आज कहा कि साम्प्रदायिक आधार पर मुस्लिम महिलाओं के साथ अन्याय नहीं होना चाहिये और मीडिया तीन तलाक को राजनीतिक और साम्प्रदायिक मुद्दा बनाने के बजाय कुरान के ज्ञाताओं को बैठाकर इस पर सार्थक चर्चा करवाये।
मोदी ने बुंदेलों की धरती महोबा में आयोजित ‘परिवर्तन रैली’ में आरोप लगाया कि तीन तलाक के मुद्दे पर देश की कुछ पार्टियां वोट बैंक की भूख में 21वीं सदी में मुस्लिम औरतों से अन्याय करने पर तुली हैं। क्या मुसलमान बहनों को समानता का अधिकार नहीं मिलना चाहिये।
उन्होंने कहा ‘‘मेरी मुसलमान बहनों का क्या गुनाह है। कोई ऐसे ही फोन पर तीन तलाक दे दे और उसकी जिंदगी तबाह हो जाए। क्या मुसलमान बहनों को समानता का अधिकार मिलना चाहिये या नहीं। कुछ मुस्लिम बहनों ने अदालत में अपने हक की लड़ाई लड़ी। उच्चतम न्यायालय ने हमारा रुख पूछा। हमने कहा कि माताओं और बहनों पर अन्याय नहीं होना चाहिये। साम्प्रदाईक आधार पर भेदभाव नहीं होना चाहिये।’’ मोदी ने कहा ‘‘चुनाव और राजनीति अपनी जगह पर होती है लेकिन हिन्दुस्तान की मुसलमान औरतों को उनका हक दिलाना संविधान के तहत हमारी जिम्मेदारी होती है।’’ उन्होंने कहा ‘‘मैं मीडिया से अनुरोध करना चाहता हूं कि तीन तलाक को लेकर जारी विवाद को मेहरबानी करके सरकार और विपक्ष का मुद्दा ना बनाएं। भाजपा और अन्य दलों का मुद्दा ना बनाएं, हिन्दू और मुसलमान का मुद्दा ना बनाएं। जो कुरान को जानते हैं, वे टीवी पर आकर चर्चा करें।’’ प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा ‘‘मुसलमानों में भी लोग सुधार चाहते हैं। जो सुधार नहीं चाहते, उनकी चर्चा हो। सरकार ने अपनी बात रख दी है। कोई गर्भ में बच्ची की हत्या कर दे तो उसे सख्त से सख्त सजा मिलनी चाहिये। वैसे ही तीन तलाक कहकर औरतों की जिंदगी बर्बाद करने वालों को यूं ही नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता।’’
‘तीन तलाक’ का मुद्दा उच्चतम न्यायालय में विचाराधीन है। सरकार ने अपने हलफनामे में इसका विरोध किया है, जबकि ऑल इण्डिया मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड ने इसे शरई कानून में दखलअंदाजी मानते हुए पूरे देश में हस्ताक्षर अभियान चलाया है।

यह प्रशिक्षण एनआईए द्वारा दिया जाएगा|देश में किसी भी एक समय पर 4,000 करोड़ रु मूल्य की जाली मुद्रा चल रही होती है
आतंकवादी घटनाओं की जांच करने वाली एजेंसी एनआईए जाली भारतीय करेंसी नोटों [एफआईसीएन] को पकड़ने के लिए बांग्लादेश के करीब 200 पुलिस अधिकारियों को प्रशिक्षण देगी। भारत में करीब 80 % जाली नोट इस पड़ोसी देश के रास्ते भारत आते हैं।
एनआईए, भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक तथा आर्थिक मामलों के विभाग और गृह मंत्रालय के साथ सहयोग से बांग्लादेश के अधिकारियों को प्रशिक्षण देगी। इसमें खुफिया जानकारी को तत्काल आधार पर साझा करना भी शामिल है।
भारतीय बाजार में प्रचलन में जारी नोटों के बारे में कोई आधिकारिक सूचना नहीं होने की वजह से एनआईए ने 2012-13 में कोलकाता के संस्थान को इसके बारे में अध्ययन को कहा था।
इस अध्ययन के अनुसार पाकिस्तानी खुफिया एजेंसी आईएसआई और देश के बाहर से यहां परिचालन कर रहे अंडरवर्ल्ड गैंग ने यहां करीब 70,000 करोड़ रपये की जाली मुद्रा झोंकी हुई है। इसमें से सिर्फ एक-तिहाई को ही विधि प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों ने पकड़ा है।
अध्ययन में कहा गया था कि किसी भी समय पर 4,000 करोड़ रु मूल्य की जाली मुद्रा चल रही होती है। एनआईए सूत्रों ने कहा कि बांग्लादेश द्वारा सहयोग बढ़ाने के बाद इसमें कमी आई है।

Upping the ante, IPS officers association has demanded pay parity and career benefit enjoyed by the IAS officers.
The association has hinted at the role of IAS officers for delay in getting their legitimate benefits.
The issue of pay parity was discussed during Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Indian Police Service (Central) Association held yesterday.
IAS officers presently get a two-year edge over other services for getting empanelled to come on deputation at the Centre.
Besides, they also get two additional increments at the rate of 3 per cent over their basic pay at three promotion stages i.e., promotion to the Senior Time Scale (STS), to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) and to the Non-Functional Selection Grade (NFSG) after putting in about four, eight and 13 years of service, respectively.

A lady flier from the United States of America has been apprehended at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) for allegedly carrying a live bullet in her baggage.
Officials said the incident was reported at about 10:30 PM on October 21 when on-duty CISF officials detected the live bullet of 9mm caliber gun in the lady’s bag, when she was undergoing security check before taking a flight to New York.
They said the lady has been identified as M Posey and she was travelling with her husband to the US.

The joint team of PSs Neb Sarai and Malviya Nagar, South District busted a Casino,have arrested 36 persons and chips worth Rs.1,36,45,000/-, 23 bottles of liquor, 250 packets of playing cards and 11 vehicles seized.
Police conducted a raid at J-255, Sainik Farms. The raiding party found that around two dozen people were playing Casino in the premises on five tables.
Two separate cases under Delhi Gambling Act and Delhi Excise Act have been registered at PS Neb Sarai.
Accused Harender Kaushik, owner of premises and Kunal Chandra, proprietor / partner of Casino are still absconding.

BJP today demanded that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav prove his majority in the Assembly or resign, labelling the party as “a sinking ship” which has failed on every front.
UP BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya told reporters, Governor Ram Naik should ask Akhilesh to prove his majority on the floor of the Assembly and till he did so, he should not take any policy decision.
“A government reduced to minority should not take any policy decision,” he said.
In New Delhi, BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma said the fast-paced developments within the Mulayam Singh Yadav-led party has “exposed” Akhilesh ,the people of the poll-bound state will now evince faith in the NDA major as “change is inevitable” there.
Rita Bahuguna Joshi, who recently joined BJP after quitting Congress, said the Samajwadi Party was on the verge of a split as in the coming days the differences would widen and there would be no bridging among leaders of the ruling party.
