चेन्नई हवाई अड्डे में फॉल्स सीलिंग का एक हिस्सा गिरा यह ५० वीं घटना है हालांकि, इस घटना में भी कोई जख्मी नहीं हुआ है ।६ अगस्त को हलोजन बल्ब का आॅउटर गिलास कवर गिरा था जिसमे ३ लोगों के जख्मी होने के समाचार हैं
हवाईअड्डे पर घरेलू विमान आगमन क्षेत्र के निकट आज फॉल्स सीलिंग का एक हिस्सा गिर जाने से लोगों में दहशत फैल गई ।
घटना आज तड़के उस समय हुई, जब सीआरपीएफ, सीआईएसएफ और अन्य एजेंसियों के कर्मचारी सुरक्षा संबंधी रिहर्सल कर रहे थे ।
स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह के मद्देनजर हवाईअड्डे पर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी कर दी गई है ।
आज की घटना नए घरेलू और अंतरराष्ट्रीय टर्मिनलों पर ग्लास पैनल+ग्रेनाइट स्लैब + फॉल्स सीलिंग के गिर जाने की जनवरी 2013 से लगभग 50वीं घटना है ।
छह अगस्त को हुई पिछली घटना में हवाईअड्डा की दर्शक दीर्घा में एक हैलोजन बल्ब पर लगा शीशे का बाहरी कवर टूट जाने से तीन व्यक्ति घायल हो गए थे ।

CISF officials have restored Rs 50,000 cash to a person who had forgotten to collect it while commuting in the Delhi Metro network.
The incident was reported yesterday from Guru Dronacharya Metro station when Anup Kumar an East Delhi resident forgot to collect his bag containing the said cash before entering the coach.This Was detected by Head constable SK Singh
As per Asstt Inspector General Harpreet Kaur, The unattended bag was put for anti-sabotage checks and after recovery of the cash the rightful owner was later given his bag

Holistic Yoga camp was also organised
The camp was held at a base of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in south Delhi where about 700 wives and other women family members of the force personnel were given a basic training session in Yoga and other fitness exercises.
The camp was organised by the wives welfare association ‘Sanrakshika’ which aims to help the families of the men and women of this 1.47-lakh personnel strong force deployed for securing some of the vital assets like airports and installations in the aerospace and nuclear domain across the length and breadth of the country.
The President of the association and wife of CISF chief Surender Singh, Gunita Singh, said such camps will regularly be held across various field formations of the force in the country.

Airport Authority of India Supervisor Aji Kumar, the main accused in the case relating to June 10 clashes at Karipur airport between CISF personnel and AAI staff leading to the death of CISF jawan, was today remanded to two days police custody.
As per B Santosh,Judicial First Class Magistrate at Manjeri today ordered the remand following a request from the police seeking his custody for further investigation into the matter
On June 16, he was remanded to 14 days judicial custody by the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court.
Ten AAI employees, including Aji Kumar, have been arrested under various sections of IPC for rioting with deadly weapons and assault and preventing public servant from discharging duty in the case.
The altercation between AAI staff and a CISF personnel over the issue of frisking led to the violence which claimed the life of CISF constable S S Yadav.

Airport Authorities went into a tizzy today after a box of chemicals emitted fumes at the international cargo section but it was immediately contained using a chemical solution and removed.
CISF personnel alerted the Fire and Rescue Services Department on noting fumes from the box of chemicals imported from Singapore

On 10th June, 2015, at around 2130 IST (0930 pm), an altercation between CISF Personnel on duty at operation’s gate and Fire Personnel turned violent at Calicut Airport. In the ensuing scuffle, a fire arm belonging to a CISF personnel went off killing a CISF head-constable while the official who was holding the fire arm sustained burn injuries on hand and he is hospitalised. The scuffle continued for some time and as a precaution five flights were diverted. Senior officers from MoCA, DGCA, BCAS, AAI and Security Directorate have been rushed to the site to take full control of the situation. The matter is being looked into.
Due to this, five flights were diverted between 2259 IST to 0302 IST (11th June). The normalcy at Airport was restored by 02.15 am and flight operations commenced at 0620 hrs. The first diverted flight landed back at Calicut Airport at 0651 hrs. One enroute flight of Air India was also diverted which also landed back at Calicut at 0801 hrs (11th June).
