A 50-year-old Italian woman was today not allowed to board a domestic flight after she was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol and allegedly argued with CISF personnel.
The woman allegedly argued with the security personnel who sought her travel papers during routine checks, airport officials said.
Also, while taking her baggage trolley to an airline’s enclosure, she had arguments with personnel there prompting authorities to intervene.

[नई दिल्ली]मोदी सरकार ने पैरा मिलिट्री फोर्सेज के लिए १३ हजार घरों के निर्माण को मंजूरी दी
आर्थिक मामलों पर मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति (सीसीईए)ने आज सीआईएसएफ+सीआरपीएफ+आईटीबीपी के विभिन्न प्रतिष्ठानों में मकान और बैरकों के निर्माण को मंजूरी दी है
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में आर्थिक मामलों की मंत्रिमंडलीय समिति ने आज 12वीं पंचवर्षीय योजना (2012-2017) के दौरान केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (सीआईएसएफ), केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (सीआरपीएफ) और भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आईटीबीपी) के 68 स्थानों में विभिन्न श्रेणी के 13072 घरों और 113 बैरकों के निर्माण को अपनी मंजूरी दी।
इस पर 3090.98 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत आएगी। इसमें मुख्य रूप से सीआईएसएफ, सीआरपीएफ और आईटीबीपी के 68 स्थानों पर 13072 आवासीय मकान (टाइप-दो, तीन, चार, पांच और छह) और 113 बैरकों का निर्माण (टाइप- पुरुष बैरक-120, 150, 180, 240, 252, 264, 360) शामिल हैं।
सीआईएसएफ, सीआरपीएफ और आईटीबीपी में आवास की मौजूदा संतोषजनक स्थिति का स्तर 12.06 प्रतिशत है और प्रस्तावित परियोजना के पूरा होने के बाद यह स्तर 15.13 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच जाएगा। इस परियोजना से आवास की संतोषजनक स्थिति के स्तर में वृद्धि के साथ-साथ बलों की दक्षता में सुधार की तत्काल जरूरत भी पूरी हो सकेगी। आवास की संतोषजनक स्थिति के स्तर में वृद्धि से सीएपीएफ का मनोबल बढ़ेगा, कानून एवं व्यवस्था से निपटने, आतंकवाद विरोधी ऑपरेशन, नक्सल विरोधी अभियान और भारत की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा की रखवाली करने की दक्षता में सुधार आएगा।

A pistol with eight bullets was today seized from a former DMK MP at the airport before his departure to Madurai by a private airlines flight.
During the screening of hand baggage of S R Jeyadurai, the former Lok Sabha member from Tuticorin, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel found a pistol with eight bullets,
He was scheduled to take a private airlines flight to Madurai. Without making prior declaration About Pistol .
The DMK leader had an argument with authorities and told them that it was a licenced weapon and sought their nod to take it with him in flight.
As the authorities stuck to their position that weapons cannot be allowed, the former MP handed them over to his family representative following which he was cleared to board another flight that would leave later.

[नयी दिल्ली]सीआईएसएफ के अधिकारियों ने मेट्रो में खोया बैग लौटाया इसमें सवालाख रुपये थे
केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक पुलिस बल [सीआईएसएफ]ने एक व्यक्ति को 1.20 लाख रूपये से भरा एक बैग लौटाया जिसे वह नयी दिल्ली मेट्रो स्टेशन पर भूल गया था।
फ़ोर्स के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने बताया कि कल शाम उपनिरीक्षक हरकेवल सिंह ने नयी दिल्ली मेट्रो स्टेशन में एक्स रे स्कैनिंग मशीन पर एक लावारिस बैग रखा पाया था। बैग में 1.20 लाख रूपये थे।
उन्होंने बताया कि पालम निवासी यूके जैन ने कुछ देर बाद मेट्रो के अधिकारियों से संपर्क कर बैग के खो जाने की सूचना दी थी। सत्यापन के बाद उनका बैग वापस कर दिया गया।

[Hyderabad]CISF Strength to be Raised to two Lakh .At Present CISF is a 1.47-lakh personnel strong force.
This information was given by home minister after reviewing the passing out parade of Assistant Commandants and Sub-Inspectors of CISF at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA)
He Said
“Women represent 5.04 per cent of CISF force. The Centre had issued a circular to Union Territories wherein they have been directed to recruit 33 per cent women in police forces and similarly participation of women should increase in central paramilitary forces,” he added.
“Amongst CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces), I believe if any force which will be the first to achieve the target of implementing 33 per cent reservation for women, it will be CISF,” Singh said.
The minister suggested “special security audit” on regular basis in security forces.
“Proper and optimum utilisation of security forces will not only increase the work efficiency of personnel but I feel that will also boost the morale of the force,” Singh added.
The minister further said in the era of globalisation and liberalisation, the role of CISF, tasked to secure the country’s major civil airports and installations in the aerospace and nuclear domain, has got diversified and expanded as India progressed.
“Your role has become multi-dimensional and challenging,” he added.
A total 66 Assistant Commandants/Executives and 459 Sub-Inspectors/Executives passed out of the Academy after completion of their basic training.

Apart From this DIAL will start trials for self-bag drop machines by 01.10.2015 also
The Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), R. N. Choubey visited Terminal 1 D on 26.08.2015 and reviewed proposed action plan to address the issue of congestion at Terminal 1 D of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), Delhi. During the review meeting, officers from CISF, BCAS and senior management of DIAL were present.
The following specific action plan alongwith timeline were also specified:
DIAL will increase the width of the terminal entry gate to allow deployment of two CISF personnel at each gate on the pattern of T3 instead of 1 CISF personnel deployed presently leading to long queues. DIAL shall complete this work by 30.09.2015 and CISF will increase their staff strength;
DIAL has increased number of x-ray machines from 16 to 18 and number of frisking booths from 32 to 36. To reduce the waiting time at the security screening, CISF will deploy additional manpower by 15.09.2015 at all x-ray machines and frisking booths;
To facilitate speedy screening of hand baggage, DIAL will place the orders for specialised trays by 31.08.2015;
To improve the passenger convenience at boarding gates, flap gates to be introduced by 07.10.2015;
To improve passenger convenience at boarding gate area DIAL will increase boarding gate area from the current 1787 sqm to 3574 sqm. by 28.02.2016 and number of boarding gates from 15 to 20.
Inter terminal transfer (T1C-T1D) on airside to be made operational by 15.09.2015. CISF to deploy additional manpower.
With the above measures congestion at Terminal 1D is expected to ease out. Secretary will review the progress after a month’s time. Secretary emphasized for better coordination among all stakeholders including government agencies to achieve the end goal of passenger friendly environment.

The 1.47 lakh personnel strong Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is tasked to secure 59 major civil airports in the country apart from securing vital installations in the aerospace and nuclear domain.
Twenty-six CISF officers have been decorated with President’s Police Medal and other similar awards on the eve of the Independence day.
Those awarded the President’s Medal include
senior Commandant V K Sharma (distinguished service),
Assistant Commandants R K Singh and
Y R Yadav for rendering meritorious service.
Yadav, at present posted in the western sector unit of the force in Mumbai, has earlier worked in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) where he cracked important drug cases as the investigating officer.
Out of these 26, five are being awarded the Fire Service Medal.
