Prime Minister Of India Dr. Man mohan Singh, has greeted the nation on the joyous occasion of Christmas.
In a message, the Prime Minister said that Christmas is a celebration of Jesus Christ’s teachings of selflessness, tolerance and brotherhood. It is an occasion to strengthen the bonds of love and friendship amongst us.
May the spirit of Christmas encourage people to think about those less fortunate he added.

Aam Aadmi Party [AAP] Legslative party and Delhi’s Chief Minister designate Arvind Kejriwal today sent the list of party MLAs, to be sworn in as ministers, to the Lt. Governor Shri Najeeb Jung. This list includes:
[1] Manish Sisodia: He is a well known activist who came to prominance during the Jan Lokpal agitation. Manish Sisodia was a prominent journalist and was associated with Zee News and All India Radio for a long time. He quit journalism to participate in the agitation for Right To Information. He was a key member of the team that laid the foundation of the Jan Lokpal Andolan. Sisodia sat on fast for 10 days demanding setting up of an SIT to probe cases against corrupt union ministers. Sisodia was also sent to Jail with Anna Hazare during anti-graft agitation.
[2] Somnath Bharti: He is a post graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology and a lawyer by profession. When police implicated innocent activists in false cases during protests that broke out after infamous Delhi Gang Rape Case, Shri Bharti contested their case and secured justice for them. He has been President and Secretary of the IIT Alumni.
[3]Satyendra Kumar Jain: He is an architect by profession. He was working with the CPWD. He quit due to prevailing corruption ine department. Jain actively particpated in the Jan Lokpal Satyagrah. He is a well known social worker. He helped Chitrakoot based social organization Drishti, working for visualy impared grls, with construction of orgaization’s building. He is also associated with social organization Sparsh, wchich works for mentally challenged children. He also organizes mass marriages for poor girls.
[4] Rakhi Birla: She was a journalist with a private news channel before joining Aam Aadmi Party. She has been associated with many social organizations and has been fighting tirelessly for the cause of the Dalits.
[5] Saurabh Bhardwaj: He was an engineer by profession. An incident of rape with with a poor minor girl changed his outlook. He fought a long drawnn legal battle to secure justice for the poor rape survivour. After his fight for the girl, Bhardwaj became a lawyer to provide legal help to such victims. He has been fighting for the cause of visually impared, poor students, flood victims and senior citizens.
[6] Girish Soni: He is a well crusador for the cause of the Aam Aadmi. He tirelessly participated in Bijli Pani Andolan of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Petroleum Minister, Dr. M. Veerappa Moily will Also follow Rules Of Environment From Today

The Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Dr. M. Veerappa Moily Took Additional Charge of Ministry of Environment & Forests, in New Delhi on December 24, 2013.
Petroleum Minister, Dr. M. Veerappa Moily today took additional charge of the Ministry of Environment & Forests .
While speaking to media persons after assuming the charge , Dr Moily said “ There is space for everyone … environment, wildlife and mankind.
It is only our mental block which sometime thinks that there is friction and I think that friction will have to end up with fusion. There are already set , rules and laws laid down and we need to perform the duty of regulator. The rules of game will have to be strictly followed. As far as possible nothing should be left for the discretion. Ultimately, we have to go by rules of games which are laid down by the Ministry. He further said that he will not compromise on the green image. ”
Dr Moily was given additional charge of the Environment and Forests Ministry after Ms Jayanthi Natarajan resigned last week .

तीन हजार किलोमीटर से ज्‍यादा की दूरी तक मार करने में सक्षम मिसाइल अग्नि-3 का आज सफलता से प्रक्षेपण किया गया |
ओडिशा तट के व्हिलर द्वीप से आज रणनीतिक बल कमान (एसएफसी) ने लम्‍बी दूरी तक मार करने वाली अग्नि-3 मिसाइल का प्रक्षेपण किया। ये मिसाइल तीन हजार किलोमीटर से ज्‍यादा की दूरी तक मार कर सकती है।
मिसाइल दागे जाने और उसके लक्षित क्षेत्र को निशाना बनाने तक के पथ पर अत्‍याधुनिक राडारों, टेलीमट्री अर्ब्‍जेवेशन स्‍टेशन्‍स, इलेक्‍ट्रोओपटिक उपकरणों तथा नौसेना के जहाजों से नजर रखी गई।
एसएफसी के प्रवक्‍ता ने बताया कि ऐसा सफल प्रशिक्षण प्रक्षेपण स्‍पष्‍ट रूप से किसी भी अप्रिय स्थिति से निपटने की हमारी तैयारी की ओर संकेत करता है। साथ ही भारत की रणनीतिक शस्‍त्रागार की प्रतिरोधी क्षमता की विश्‍वसनीयता भी स्‍थापित करता है। अग्नि-3 मिसाइल उन्‍नत, उच्‍च, सटीकता वाली नेविगेशन प्रणाली से युक्‍त है और एक नवीन निर्देशित योजना द्वारा निर्देशित है|

नई दिल्ली के एडिशनल कमिश्नर आफ पुलिस [सिक्यूरिटी]वी रंगानाथन द्वारा पत्र संख्या १०६४२ /एक्स ब्रांच/सेक/के माध्यम से यह सुरक्षा व्यवस्था आफर की गई है |अरविन्द केजरीवाल के निजी सहायक को लिखे गए इस आफर में कहा गया है कि दिल्ली पुलिस दिल्ली के मुख्य मंत्री को सुरक्षा कवर मुहैय्या करवाती है चूँकि अब अरविन्द केजरीवाल मुख्य मंत्री बनने जा रहे हैं इसीलिए उन्हें सुरक्षा कवर दिया जाना है सुरक्षा कर्मी कहा भेजने हैं कृपया बताएं|

मनीष तिवारी ने मल्‍टी सर्विस आपरेटरों कोचेतवनी देते हुए कहा कि सभी निशुल्‍क चैनल नहीं दिखाए जाने पर उनके विरुद्ध कार्रवाई की जायेगी| सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री मनीष तिवारी ने कुमाऊं सांस्‍कृतिक कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करने के पश्चात यह चेतावनी दी|
चंडीगढ़ के टैगोर थियेटर में कुमाऊं सभा द्वारा आयोजित सांस्‍कृतिक कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करने के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के लोगों की यह अन्‍तर्निहित प्रवृत्ति है कि वे जहां भी जाते हैं अपनी संस्‍कृति को अवश्‍य साथ ले जाते हैं।। उन्‍होंने कहा कि भारत की व्‍यापक संस्‍कृति के विविध रंग उन सांस्‍कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में भी झलकते हैं जो किसी भिन्‍न क्षेत्र द्वारा आयोजित किए गए हों। उन्‍होंने कहा कि कुमाऊं सभा ऐसे सांस्‍कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करते हुए भारत की इसी परम्‍परा का निर्वाह करती है। इन प्रयासों को संस्‍थागत रूप देने के लिए कुमाऊं सभा ने शहर में कुमाऊं भवन की संस्‍थापना का प्रस्‍ताव किया है। उन्‍होंने प्रस्‍तावित भवन के लिए हर संभव सहायता देने का आश्‍वासन दिया। कुमाऊं सभा के अध्‍यक्ष श्री बच्‍चन सिंह, महा सचिव श्री एम एस रावत और अन्‍य सदस्‍यों ने श्री मनीष तिवारी का अभिनंदन किया।
बाद में श्री तिवारी ने कहा कि मल्‍टी सर्विस आपरेटरों के लिए यह अनिवार्य है कि वे सभी निशुल्‍क चैनल दिखाएं और जो ऐसा नहीं करेंगे उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जायेगी।
