संप्रग सरकार के दौरान हुए कथित भ्रष्टाचार और कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष के दामाद रॉर्बट वाड्रा का नाम लिये बिना उन पर चुटकी लेते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने देश में भ्रष्टाचार के चलन की निंदा की और दावा किया कि उन्होंने भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त शासन दिया है।
अपने उपर कोई आरोप नहीं लगने को रेखांकित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि वह जियेंगे तो देश के लिए, मरेंगे तो देश के लिए ।
सैन जोस के सैप सेंट में भारतीय समुदाय के लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्ववर्ती सरकार के दौरान भ्रष्टाचार से देश को निराशा हुई और नाराजगी पैदा हुई ।
भ्रष्टाचार से निपटने की अपनी सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता का जिक्र करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारे देश में राजनेताओं पर कुछ ही समय में आरोप लग जाते हैं। हमने किसी नेता के 50 करोड़ रूपये बनाने, किसी के बेटे के 100 करोड़ बनाने, किसी की बेटी के 250 करोड़ रूपये बनाने, किसी के दामाद के 1000 करोड़ रूपये बनाने की बात सुनी है। गौरतलब है के इससे पूर्व भी मोदी ने कांग्रेस के भ्र्ष्टाचार पर प्रहार कियेथे उस समय भी कांग्रेस द्वारा तीखी आलोचना की गई थी

Internet services in Jammu and Kashmir were fully restored today, three days after the state government ordered the termination of data services fearing trouble during Eid-ul-Azha.
While landline broadband services in the state resumed at 8 PM yesterday, mobile data services were restored at 10 AM today.
“The ban on Internet has been revoked in the state and all service providers have been asked to resume their data services,”
The Internet services were snapped in the state at 5 AM on Friday last as the authorities apprehended misuse by anti-social elements.
The ban was to remain effective till 10 PM on Saturday.
However, it was extended first till 2 PM on Sunday and then till 8 PM yesterday in case of landline broadband and 10 AM on Monday in case of mobile Internet.
The measure was taken because of apprehension of communal tension in the backdrop of the High Court directive for implementation of an old law that bans slaughter and selling of beef.
Terming the ban as “interference in religious affairs”, some separatist and religious groups had said they would defy the court order.
The step by the authorities was aimed at thwarting the designs of elements who may violate the court order and, as a mark of protest, post the pictures or videos on social media that may spark communal tension

In a veiled attack on the corruption during UPA regime and a barb at the Congress President’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today deprecated the culture of graft in the country and said he has provided graft-free governance.
He said corruption during the previous government’s time had triggered anger among people.
“In our country it doesn’t take much for allegations to come up against politicians… Someone made 50 crores, someone’s son made 250 crores, (someone’s) daughter made 500 crores, (someone’s) damaad (son-in-law) made 1000 crores…” he said addressing the Indian community at the packed SAP Centre in San Jose, California.
Switching on to a question answer mode, he asked the audience “Is the country not disappointed?”
The people replied “yes”.
“Is there not anger against corruption,” he asked.
“Yes,” people shouted.
Modi then asked, “I am standing before you. Tell me if there is any allegation against me.”
“No,” people shouted. He then told the crowd that he is giving every minute of his life in the service of the nation and he would live and die for the country.
While Modi’s reference to sons and daughters of politicians being corrupt is seen as a reference to culture of corruption in the country, the reference to son-in-law is seen as a barb at alleged land deals entered into by Vadra with the some state governments.

The DMK leader had an argument with authorities and told them that it was a licenced weapon and sought their nod to take it with him in flight.
As the authorities stuck to their position that weapons cannot be allowed, the former MP handed them over to his family representative following which he was cleared to board another flight that would leave later.

Govt Announces Primary out-patient medical care to the general public at CGHS Centres for dengue treatment
As part of the various initiatives taken by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to deal with the situation arising out of spread of Dengue, all doctors at various CGHS Wellness Centres in Delhi and NCR shall provide consultation services and primary out-patient medical care to all citizens- whether CGHS beneficiaries or not- who may visit the Wellness Centres with symptoms of Dengue, primarily high fever.
CGHS Wellness Centres function from 7.30.A.M. to 2 P.M. on all working days. The location of CGHS Wellness Centres may be ascertained from CGHS website

[नई दिल्ली]आम आदमी पार्टी[आप]के यूथ विंग ने अपना रविवासरीय अवकाश सफाई अभियान को समर्पित किया आज इनकी पहली सालगिरह भी है
रविवार को “आप” की यूथ विंग ने अपनी पहली सालगिरह पूरी दिल्ली में सफ़ाई अभियान के साथ मनाई।
यूथ विंग ने संगठन के स्तर पर अपनी टीम को चौदह ज़िलों में बांटा है और हर जिले की टीम ने अपने अपने ज़िले में सड़कों पर उतर कर सफ़ाई की। प्राप्त विज्ञपति के अनुसार पार्टी की यूथ इकाई ने अपने कार्यक्रम को तीन हिस्सों में बांट रखा था जिसके तहत सुबह 8 बजे से 10 बजे तक पार्टी के युवा कार्यकर्ताओं ने सड़कों और गलियों की सफ़ाई की, दूसरे हिस्से में सुबह 11 बजे 2 बजे तक गली मोहल्लों में डेंगू से बचाव के लिए फोगिंग की और लोगों की टंकियां और कूलर्स की सफ़ाई की। कार्यक्रम के तीसरे हिस्से में शाम 3 बजे से 5 बजे तक पार्टी के युवा कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपने इलाके में पौधारोपण का कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जिससे दिल्ली की हरा-भरा और स्वस्छ बनाने में मदद हो सके।
पिछले एक साल में अलग सामाजिक मुद्दों पर सड़क पर उतर लड़ाई लड़ने वाली आप यूथ विंग के कार्यकर्ताओंं ने संगठन की पहली सालगिरह भी लोगों और दिल्ली की जनता की सेवा करके ही मनाई। इस मौके पर यूथ विंग के दिल्ली इकाई के अध्यक्ष श्री अंकुश नारंग ने बताया कि हमने दिल्ली समेत देशभर के युवाओं से ही आग्रह किया था वो हमें बताएं कि हम सबको ये दिन कैसे मनाना चाहिए, जिसपर युवाओं ने हमें एकमत होते हुए आदेश दिया था

र डा रोहित रविन्द्र ने केन्द्रीय मंत्री कृषि राज्य मंत्री संजीव बालियान को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि अभी तक मेरठ में हार्ट के मरीजों के उपचार के लिए दिल्ली की और रूख करना पड़ता था लेकिन अब यह सुविधा लोकप्रिय अस्पताल में मिलेगी। बालियान के अनुसार मेरठ के अस्पतालों में ५० प्रतिशत मरीज पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश से आते है। हार्ट सेंटर के खुलने से दिल के मरीजों को काफी राहत मिलेगी।
