“पंजाब केसरी” स्वर्गीय लाला लाजपत राय को आज कृतघ्न राष्ट्र ने याद किया और भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की| लोक सभा स्पीकर श्रीमती मीरा कुमार ने आज सुबह संसद में देश के इस महान सपूत के चित्र के समक्ष पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की |पंजाब के मोगा जिले में 28 जनवरी 1865 को जन्मे लालाजी स्वाधीनता संग्रामं में भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के गरम दल के तीन प्रमुख नेताओं[बाल+पाल+लाल] में से एक नेता थे और पंजाब केसरी भी कहे जाते हैं|बाल गंगाधर तिलक और बिपिन चंद्र पाल के साथ इस त्रिमूर्ति को लाल-बाल-पाल के नाम से जाना जाता था।
“स्वराज्य मेरा जन्मसिद्ध अधिकार है” का नारा देने वाले लाला लाजपत राय ने डीऐ वी स्कूल और पंजाब नेशनल बैंक की स्थापना भी की थी।
30 अक्टूबर 1928 को इन्होंने लाहौर में साइमन कमीशन के विरोध में प्रदर्शन किया था जिसके दौरान हुए बर्बर लाठी-चार्ज हुआ जिसमे वह बुरी तरह घायल हो गए। इस प्रदर्शन में लगी चोटों से ही 17 नवम्बर 1928 को उनकौ देहान्त हो गया|उस समय उन्होंने कहा था “मेरे शरीर पर पड़ी एक-एक लाठी ब्रिटिश सरकार के ताबूत में एक-एक कील का काम करेगी।” उनका यह कथन सत्य साबित हुआ और बहुत जल्द विदेशी शासक भारत छोड़ गए । शहीदे आजम भगत सिंह+ राजगुरू + सुखदेव लाला जी की मौत का बदला लेने के लिए 17 दिसंबर, 1928 को ब्रिटिश पुलिस के अफसर सांडर्स को गोली मार दी थी। सांडर्स की हत्या के मामले में ही राजगुरु, सुखदेव और भगतसिंह को फांसी की सजा सुनाई गई थी।

[१] वर्ष 2001-2005 में पुरूषों की औसत आयु 62.3 वर्ष और महिलाओं की 63.9 वर्ष थी।
[२] वर्ष 2011-2015 में यह आयु बढ़कर पुरूषों के मामलें में 67.3 वर्ष और महिलाओं के मामलें में 69.6 वर्ष हो गयी है।
[३] एचआईवी मामलों में भी 57 % तक की कमी हुई है।
[४] शिशु मृत्यु दर में भी कमी आई है और यह वर्ष 2005 में जन्में 1 हजार शिशुओं में से 58 से 2012 में 42 पर आ गयी है।
[५] मातृक मृत्यु दर में भी कमी दर्ज की गयी है और यह 2001-03 में 1 लाख में 301 से घटकर वर्ष 2007-09 में 212 तक आ गयी।
[६]वृद्धजनों की स्वास्थ्य से संबंधित समस्याओं को दूर करने के लिए वृद्ध स्वास्थ्य देखभाल नामक राष्ट्रीय कार्यक्रम है

केंद्र सरकार ने आज जैन समुदाय को अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के रूप में अधिसूचित कर दिया। पांच समुदाय[१]मुस्लिम[२] इसाई[३] सिख[४] बौद्ध [५] पारसी पहले ही अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय घोषित है। केंद्र सरकार ने यह अधिसूचना राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग कानून 1992 की धारा 2 के अनुच्छेद (ग) के अंतर्गत प्राप्त अधिकारों का उपयोग करते हुए जारी की है। केंद्र द्वारा अधिसूचना जारी करने के साथ ही जैन समुदाय आज अल्पसंख्यक दर्जा पाने वाला छठा धार्मिक समूह बन गया। सरकार ने गत 20 जनवरी को आयोजित कैबिनेट की बैठक में करीब 50 लाख की जनसंख्या वाले समुदाय को अल्पसंख्यक का दर्जा देने का निर्णय किया था। यह जैन समुदाय की पुरानी मांग थी और इससे उन्हें सरकारी योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों में लाभ मिलेगा।

बागपत जनपद के हजारों लोगों ने चो. अजित सिंह के विश्वासपात्र नवाब कोकब हमीद तथा श्री सलीम चौधरी के नेतृत्व में रालोद के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष +केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री चौ.अजित सिंह से उनके आवास पर मुलाकात की। इस मौके पर रालोद के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव एवं मथुरा से लोकसभा सांसद श्री जयन्त चौधरी भी उपस्थित थे।
इस अवसर पर दंगा पीड़ितों के घावों पर मलहम लगाते हुए चौ. अजित सिंह ने मुजफ्फरनगर दंगों पर संवेदना व्यक्त की और कहा कि यह दंगा राजनीतिक दंगा था। ये भाजपा और सपा की साजिश थी। जो पंचायतें प्रशासन के खिलाफ होनी थीं, उन्हें हिन्दू-मुस्लिम रूप दिया गया। रालोद अध्यक्ष ने सद्भाव स्थापित करने की आवश्यकता पर भी बल दिया |

युवा सांसद जयन्त चौधरी ने उत्तर प्रदेश की हालत पर चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश के हालात पूरी तरह से खराब हो चुके हैं। उन्होंने सपा और भाजपा पर कटाक्ष करते हुए कहा कि ये दोनों मौकापरस्त पार्टियां समाज को तोड़ने का कार्य कर रही हैं। उन्होने कहा कि देश और समाज मेहनत से आगे बढ़ता है, लड़ाई-झगड़े से नहीं। रालोद महासचिव ने कहा कि राज्य में सड़क+ बिजली + पानी की स्थिति बदहाल है। जहां सड़क, बिजली पानी न हो ऐसी सरकार को उखाड़ फेंक देना चाहिए और ऐसी सोच बदल देनी चाहिए। महासचिव ने लोगों से 30 जनवरी को आगरा में होने वाली संकल्प रैली में एकत्रित होने का आहवान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि गरीब, किसान और नौजवान इस आयोजन में सहयोग करें और समाज को शांति का संदेश दें। युवा सांसद ने कहा कि गरीब, किसान और नौजवान एक होकर इस देश को नई दिशा दें।
इस मौके पर रालोद के विधान परिषद के सदस्य श्री मुश्ताक चौधरी, श्री अनीश कुरैशी, रालोद महासचिव श्री ऐहतेशाम रहीम खान, श्री अश्विनी तोमर, डॉ. महक सिंह तथा मुस्लिम समुदाय के धर्मगुरु मौजूद थे।

At present only 4 airports, i.e. [1]Delhi,[2] Mumbai,[3] Hyderabad and[4] Bangalore have the required infrastructure for operations of A-380. The decision has been taken after due consultations with the DGCA+ Air India + Airports Authority of India.
The operations of A-380 aircraft would be subject to overall traffic entitlements within the bilateral Air Service Agreements (ASAs) with different countries. It has also been decided that wherever the entitlements are not expressed in terms of seats per week, the same should be rationalized and converted into seats per week before allowing A-380 operations to India from these countries. If any Air Service Agreement (ASA) specifically prohibits operation of A-380 to India, the same will also be required to be amended before A380 operations from that country are allowed. The rationalization of traffic rights from services per week to seats per week shall be done through mutual negotiations through Memorandum of Understanding. Before operations of A-380 are allowed, all the airports shall have to get DGCA certification and make adequate preparation in terms of various services required.
As per available information, [1]Singapore Airline[2] Emirates and[3] Lufthansa are interested in operating A-380 aircrafts in India on various international routes.

Sports Ministry Sanctions Rs 10,52,000.00 For Winter Olympics Games from National Sports Development Fund
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports have sanctioned a grant of Rs 10,52,000.00 (Rupees Ten Lacs fifty two thousand only) from the National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) for purchase of sports equipments, Ski, Ski Boots and other essential items for the participants of Winter Olympics Games 2014 at Sochi (Russia) in the disciplines of Alpine Skiing and Cross- Country Skiing.
This was decided at a meeting of the Executive Committee of NSDF held in New Delhi last week. Although such assistance is not normally given from NSDF, the Executive Committee decided to extend the assistance as a special case in view of the importance of the event.
Three sports persons namely [1]S/Shri Shiva Keshavan (Luge),
[2]Himanshu Thakur (Alpine Skiing) and
[3] Nadeem Iqbal (Alpine Skiing) from India have qualified for participation in Sochi Winter Olympics commencing from 7th February 2014.
The grant from NSDF is in addition to the assistance for sports kit, air fare, accommodation etc. already sanctioned for the participants of the Winter Olympics Games.
It may be recalled that in a meeting chaired by the Minister of State ( Independent Charge), Shri Jitendra Singh on 15th January, 2014 it was decided to provide assistance for participation of Indian sports persons in the Winter Olympics.
Earlier Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has also sanctioned financial assistance of about Rs 34.00 Lacs to Shri Shiva Keshavan for training for preparation of Winter Olympics.

The Aam Aadmi Party formed a a disciplinary committee, on 19-Jan-2013, headed by Pankaj Gupta to look into the matter of Vinod Kumar Binny. The other members of the committee included Ashish Talwar, Illyas Azmi, Yogendra Yadav and Gopal Rai.
This disciplinary committee has decided to expel Vinod Kumar Binny and terminate his primary membership from the party, for publicly making false statements against the party and its leadership, thereby bringing disrepute to the party. A letter to the same end has been issued to Vinod Kumar Binny.

AAP Party Has Alleged That DCW Is clearly working on a political agenda under its current chairperson.
Her public statements make it clear that she is speaking the language of her political masters, which is not in keeping with the dignified post she holds.
The Aam Aadmi Party takes strong exceptions to her utterances and demands that the Delhi government should look into the state of affairs of the commission.
The attempts to browbeat the lawyers representing the Malviya Nagar MLA and Delhi law minister Somnath Bharti by the commission chairperson are condemnable.
While Backing Law Minister Mr Bharti It Is Said That through his lawyers Mr Bharti wanted to inform the DCW that he will
appear before the commission at a later date.
This was done by Mr Bharti despite the fact that the summons by the DCW were sent to him on wrong addresses, but showing full respect for the commission he decided to be represented before it. The attempts by the DCW chairperson, who is a former MLA of the Congress party, to create a controversy on the issue clearly showed her real intentions.
How far is it justified to send summons on wrong addresses repeatedly in a hurry and make public statements about them ?
It appears that the DCW chairperson acted on a well thought out plan to divert attention from the real issues facing the residents of Khirki Extension. The women from that area have already submitted their grievances before the DCW and the AAP demands justice on the issue.
