देश के विभाजन के समय हिंदुस्तान आ कर बसे सिंधी समुदाय के लोगों की खराब हालत का मुद्दा शुक्रवार को लोकसभा में उठा और अलग सिंधी प्रदेश का गठन किए जाने की मांग की गई।
भाजपा सदस्य बिशेश्वर तुडू ने लोकसभा में शून्यकाल के दौरान यह मामला उठाते हुए कहा कि सिंधु घाटी की मोहनजोदाड़ो सभ्यता से ताल्लुक रखने वाले इस समुदाय के लोग आज बदहाली का जीवन जी रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि विभाजन के समय पाकिस्तान के सिंध से ये लोग शरणार्थियों के रूप में भारत में आकर बसे थे।
उन्होंने कहा कि सिंधी समुदाय के संरक्षण के लिए अलग से सिंध प्रदेश का गठन किए जाने के साथ ही सिंधी कल्याण बोर्ड, राष्ट्रीय सिंधी अकादमी, सिंधी टीवी और रेडियो चैनल शुरू करने की तथा 26 जनवरी की परेड में सिंधी समुदाय की झांकी को शामिल किए जाने की मांग की।
साथ ही उन्होंने भगवान झूलेलाल के जन्मदिन पर अवकाश घोषित किए जाने की भी मांग की

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said Jyotiraditya Scindia forgot his ideology as he was apprehensive about his political future and that he would not get respect in the BJP.
Gandhi told reporters outside Parliament that Scindia was an old friend of his And would not get respect in the BJP, nor would he feel satisfied there, the former Congress chief said.
A day after quitting the Congress, Scindia joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday in the presence of its president JP Nadda and slammed his former party for “denying reality” and “not acknowledging” new thoughts and new leadership.
Scindia has been named as the BJP’s Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh.

After resigning from Indian National Congress Disgruntled leader Jyotiraditya Scindia met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday amid indications that he might join hands with the BJP to topple the Madhya Pradesh government.
As per Sources ,Scindia first met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and then the two leaders met Modi at the prime minister’s residence.
Legislators loyal to Scindia, who has been upset with the Congress leadership with his marginalisation in the affairs of the Madhya Pradesh Congress, are likely to quit the party to reduce the Kamal Nath-led government to a minority.
It is likely to be followed by the Bharatiya Janata Party staking claim to form the government in the state.

A war of words broke out between the BJP and Congress on Sunday over the Yes Bank crisis with the ruling party seeking to link it with the Gandhi family, while the opposition wondered if the prime minister and finance minister were “complicit” as the bank’s loan book grew manifold.
Posting on Twitter a clip of a news channel report that Rana Kapoor, the arrested Yes Bank founder, had bought a painting from Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, BJP’s information and technology wing in-charge Amit Malviya alleged that every financial crime in India has “deep links” with the Gandhis.
The Congress termed the charge “fake”.
It said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had sold an M F Hussain painting of her father Rajiv Gandhi to Kapoor for Rs 2 crore, and the entire amount was disclosed in her income tax return of 2010.
Malviya tweeted, “Every financial crime in India has deep link with the Gandhis. Mallya used to send flight upgrade tickets to Sonia Gandhi. Had access to MMS (Manmohan Singh) and PC (P Chidambaram). Is absconding. Rahul inaugurated Nirav Modi’s bridal jewellery collection, he defaulted. Rana bought Priyanka Vadra’s paintings.”
Rubbishing the allegation, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said it was a “diversionary” tactic by the government.
He noted that the bank’s loan book rose from Rs 55,633 crore in March 2014, the year Narendra Modi became prime minister, to Rs 2,41,499 crore in March 2019.
Kapoor, 62, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai after charges of alleged financial irregularities and mismanagement in the bank’s operations surfaced and the RBI and Union government initiated action to control its affairs.

BJP-majority House passed the state Budget without a detailed department-by-department discussion, which protested by the Opposition.
The House was earlier supposed to continue till March 6. But a revised schedule brought up by the government scrapped the remaining sittings of the session.
The Budget presented in the assembly on February 18 was passed by voice vote, before Speaker Hriday Narayan Dikshit adjourned the session sine die.
The opposition accused the government of running away from a thorough discussion of the budgetary provisions.
Some opposition members continued to remain in the assembly chamber as a mark of protest even after the House was adjourned.

भाजपा के एक नेता ने सोमवार को ‘बुर्के’ पर प्रतिबंध की मांग करके नया विवाद उत्पन्न कर दिया। उनका कहना है कि बुर्का राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा है।
रघुराज सिंह ने कहा कि देश में बुर्के पर प्रतिबंध लगना चाहिए जैसा अन्य कई देशों में है।
सिंह हाल ही में तब सुर्खियों में आये थे, जब उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करने वाले एएमयू के छात्रों को कथित तौर पर जिन्दा दफन करने की धमकी दी थी।
उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘मेरा स्पष्ट मानना है कि बुर्का श्रीलंका, चीन, अमेरिका और कनाडा में इस्तेमाल नहीं होता। इसे हमारे देश में भी प्रतिबंधित होना चाहिए ताकि आतंकवादी इसका फायदा ना उठा पायें। शाहीन बाग में लोग बुर्का पहनकर बैठे हैं। बुर्का आतंकवादियों, चोरों और असामाजिक तत्वों को छिपने में मदद करता है इसलिए इस पर प्रतिबंध लगना चाहिए।’
सिंह ने बुर्के की उत्पत्ति समझाते हुए कहा, ‘‘यह रामायण की शूर्पणखा से निकला। जब उसके नाक कान काटे गये तो वह अरब भाग गयी जहां छिपने के लिए रेगिस्तान था। चूंकि उसके नाक कान कट गये थे, इसलिए उसने बुर्के से अपना चेहरा छिपाया। बुर्का मानव के लिए आवश्यक नहीं है।’’
सिंह की पार्टी में स्थिति के बारे में पूछने पर भाजपा प्रवक्ता चंद्रमोहन ने कहा कि वह ना तो मंत्री हैं और ना ही विधायक।
