Under the terms of the agreement, CAE has relocated Jet Airways’ CAE-built simulators from the airline’s training centre in Mumbai to CAE’s training centre in Bengaluru.
Jet Airways’ simulators, which include two B737 full-flight simulators (FFS) and one B777 FFS, are now fully operational and certified by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
It is informed by Ragini Chopra Vice president that The six-bay CAE centre is located in a 116,000 square-foot complex close to the Bengaluru International Airport at Devanahalli. Operational since late 2008,
it is the first non-airline training centre to earn approval as a fixed-wing Type Rating Training Organisation (TRTO) by India’s DGCA

It May Be Recalled that DGCA had on last Saturday cracked down on Jet Airways after an audit of its pilots and cabin crew training programme and issued show cause notices to 131 pilots of the airline.

This audit was carried out after one of the airline’s planes plunged more then five thousand feet while flying over Turkish airspace on the Brussels-Mumbai route on August eight.

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार |पश्चिम बंगाल में बीते दिन [शुक्रवार] को बागडोगरा से उड़ान भरने वाला इंडिगो[ ६ई ४७२] का एक विमान एयर इंडिया[आई सी [८७९] के उतर रहे विमान के काफी नजदीक पहुंच गया एक बार तो हवा में एक्सीडेंट होने की आशंका जताई जाने लगी लेकिन सम्बंधित अधिकारीयों की तत्काल सूझ बूझ से २५० यात्रियों के जीवन पर आया खतरा टल गया| एयर इंडिया के विमान में १२० जबकि इंडिगो के प्लेन में १३० यात्री सवार थे|

दिल्ली से भोपाल के रूट पर ८० सवारियों के साथ निकले जेट एयरवेज की फ्लाइट9W-2654 के दायें इंजन में बीते दिनों आग लग गई| स्टाफ की तत्परता से दुर्घटना को टाला गया और यात्रियों को दूसरे विमान से भेजा गया | इसके अलावा मुंबई से ब्रुसेल्स की उड़ान पर निकले प्लेन के पायलट सो गया जबकि सहायक पायलट “टेबलेट” पर व्यस्त रही जिसके फलस्वरूप जहाज खतरनाक नीचाई तकआ गया |अंकारा कंट्रोल रूम से अलार्म बजाये जाने पर पायलट की नींद टूटी और जहाज को उचाई पर ले जाकर दुर्घटना को टाला गया | यह समाचार आग कि तरह विदेशी मीडिया में भी छाया हुआ है| डी जी सी ऐ ने दोनों मामलों की जांच का एलान किया है|

नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री श्री अशोक गजपति राजू ने चेन्नई अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे के कामकाज की समीक्षा करने के लिए नागरिक उड्डयन सचिव और भारतीय विमान पत्तन प्राधिकरण (एएआई) के अध्यक्ष और वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ एक बैठक की। यह बैठक चेन्नई हवाई अड्डे के रखरखाव में कमी और सुविधाओं में कमी से संबंधित शिकायतें मिलने के बाद बुलाई गई थी।

Jet Airways Group reported 26% improved performance for the first quarter ending 30 June 2014
Compared to the same quarter of the previous financial year; Jet Airways’ financial performance improved by INR M 904 or 26 per cent.
The net loss before taxes is INR M 2,580 compared to a net loss of INR M 3,485.
The total number of revenue passengers who travelled with Jet Airways increased by 4.3 per cent to 5.19 million from 4.98 million, with passenger load factor increasing by 2.3 percentage points from 77.9 to 80.2 as the airline gained new customers.
Overall RASK (revenue per available seat kilometre) in Q1 FY15 increased by 6.4 per cent to INR 4.68 from INR 4.40. While domestic RASK rose by 7.4 per cent to INR 5.53 from INR 5.15, international RASK increased by 8.2 per cent to 4.18 from 3.86, reflecting the strengthening of the international operations of the airline.
The cargo performance provides further critical proof of the turnaround at Jet Airways. The 10.2 per cent increase from INR M 3,297 to INR M 3,633 in cargo revenues was driven largely by the new commercial collaboration, which includes a common suite of products, shared freighter operations and procurement.
Naresh Goyal, Chairman of Jet Airways, said: “We are taking stringent measures to operate in an industry which continues to face tough challenges, and while there are no short-term solutions, I am very pleased with the demonstrable progress we have made in several areas.
Jet Airways and Etihad Airways now operate shared freighter operations, with capacity sharing on the Hong Kong to Delhi route and on the recently launched route between Mumbai and Noi Bai in Hanoi. Joint procurement in cargo handling has already generated considerable savings amounting to more than INR M 21 per year.
