Indian Home Minister Rajntah Singh ,For Regional Security, Leaves for SAARC at Kathmandu
Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh left New Delhi today to attend the Sixth Meeting of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Ministers of Interior / Home being held tomorrow in Kathmandu, Nepal.
While leaving, the Home Minister said that SAARC is an important forum where the members seek to promote the welfare of the people in South Asia & strengthen collective self-reliance. The Home Minister added that he is looking forward to his Nepal visit & SAARC meeting where important issues pertaining to regional security+prosperity will be discussed. The new government at the Centre is committed to revive SAARC as a major regional forum to promote active collaboration in the region, Shri Rajnath Singh added.
Union Minister also said that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had demonstrated his out-of-the-box thinking by inviting leaders of all SAARC nations to the swearing in ceremony. It shows the level of importance the Government in New Delhi attaches to its immediate neighbours and SAARC nations, the Home Minister mentioned.

[नई दिल्ली]पुलिस क्लीयरेंस प्रमाण-पत्र अब केवल एक क्लिक पर मिलेंगे |इस सुविधा के लिए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने दिल्ली पुलिस का वेब एप्लीकेशन जारी किया|
गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने आज दिल्ली पुलिस का वेब एप्लीकेशन जारी किया।
विदेश जाने, रोजगार प्राप्त करने इत्यादि के लिए दिल्ली के लोगों को पुलिस क्लीयरेंस प्रमाण-पत्र की आवश्यकता होती है। अब यह सुविधा वेब एप्लीकेशन से प्राप्त होगी।गृह मंत्रालय के अनमानुसार इस सुविधा से वर्ष में लगभग एक लाख लोगों को फायदा होगा।
गृह मंत्री श्री सिंह ने दिल्ली पुलिस कर्मियों से आग्रह किया कि वे कर्तव्यपरायणता के जरिए अपनी वर्दी का सम्मान सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने बेहतर काम करके लोगों का भरोसा जीतने के लिए भी आग्रह किया। दिल्ली पुलिस कर्मियों को उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि सरकार दिल्ली पुलिस को देश का आधुनिकतम पुलिस बल बनाने के लिए हर संभव सहयोग करेगी।
इसके पूर्व दिल्ली पुलिस आयुक्त श्री बी.एस. बस्सी ने इस बात का ब्यौरा प्रस्तुत किया कि दिल्ली पुलिस सामान खो जाने की रिपोर्टों के संबंध में विभिन्न ई-एप्लीकेशनों का इस्तेमाल करती है। इसके अलावा दिल्ली पुलिस की यातायात इकाई भी मोबाइल फोन आधारित एप्लीकेशन का प्रयोग करती है।
इस अवसर पर दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल श्री नजीब जंग, गृह सचिव श्री अनिल गोस्वामी, गुप्तचर ब्यूरो के निदेशक श्री सईद आसिफ इब्राहिम, दिल्ली के मुख्य सचिव श्री एस.के. श्रीवास्तव तथा गृह मंत्रालय और दिल्ली पुलिस के अन्य आला अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।

Indian Home Ministry Reiterates National Policy Of Not Supporting illegal Migration
India has a policy of not supporting illegal migration either into India or anywhere outside India.
This Clarification Is Issued By Ministry of Home Affairs
As Per Clarifications Issued By Home Ministry Indian authorities have clearly conveyed to the Australian side[ During the visit of Minister Morrison to India ] that the first requirement is to provide consular access to Indian High Commission officials in Australia to the persons. India’s policy is to accept return of Indian citizens and other persons whose return it is obligated to accept under applicable Indian domestic law. As per current policy, India will take back its own nationals provided the consular access clearly determines their origin.
There have been some press reports on briefings by Australian Minister of Immigration and Border Protection Scott Morrison on the issue of 157 persons who are held up at sea off the shores of Australia and his interactions with the Indian Minister for Home Affairs Shri Rajnath Singh and Minister for External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi Recently .
Mr. Scott Morrison, Australian Minister for Immigration & Border Protection met the Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh The Union Minister for External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj The meeting was mainly to discuss issues relating to illegal migration. In this context, the Australian Minister mentioned that a boat with 157 persons onboard was seized by the Australian authorities in the last week of June, 2014.
The Union Home Minister reiterated that India, as a matter of policy, does not support any kind of illegal migration either into its own territory or illegal migration of its citizens to foreign territories.
