AAP party has furnished video/photo evidence along with the gift pack carrying Modi’s photo and address of the supplier in Surat. The party has demanded registration of an FIR under sections 171 B/E of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Shri Modi for trying to bribe voters
The AAP in a separate complaint to the EC has drawn its attention towards the fact that on April 24th the nomination procession/ rally of BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Varanasi Shri Narendra Modi incurred an
expenditure of around Rs 6 crore. The party’s complaint is based on the fact that Shri Modi
used a helicopter to arrive at the starting point of the rally and also to leave the city. The party has informed the EC that helicopter rental,
hoardings and cutouts bearing Modi’s photographs will have to be included in its election expenditure.
The cost of transportation of bringing and taking back people,
the distribution of caps T-Shirts, sarees, masks, flags and scarfs –
which were distributed in lakhs. according to BJP estimates need to be accounted for.

AAP Party has welcomed Election Commission direction to the Central Government to defer its decision of doubling the prices of natural gas from April 1.
The AAP Congratulates the people of the country for having supported the party stand on the issue.
Earlier AAP Party wrote a letter to E C and alleging that the UPA Government had violated the Model Code of Conduct.

Kapil And Kejriwal both have alleged that opinion polls are manipulated and favoring Modi.
They both have demanded [separately ] that opinion polls.should be banned
Law Minister Kapil Sibal today said the Election Commission should take “hard decisions” if it finds that opinion polls are used to further the cause of parties as a sting operation showed that poll data is manipulated by agencies conducting such exercise.
“If this sting operation represents the truth, those opinion poll results amount to paid news, which subverts democracy and all that we stand for.The sting operation titled “Operation Prime Minister” carried out by a television channel recently, suggests that a particular political party is involved in manipulating opinion polls and publicising them in conspiracy with some sections of the media. This needs to be investigated
Kapil said”I request the Election Commission to take a call on the revelations, on the nature and impact of manipulated opinion polls, especially in light of the impending elections”.
While demanding transparency “AAP” Party demanded regulatory frame work
AAP Party believes that banning all opinion polls is not a solution, but this situation calls for a regulatory framework for ensuring transparency in public opinion polling.
AAP has issued following demands
1. The News Broadcasters Standards Authority and the Editors’ Guild should, having checked the veracity of this sting, conduct an inquiry into the role of news channels in broadcasting manipulated polls.
2. The channels, such as Times Now, Headlines Today and India TV, which have used “polls” conducted by these agencies under cloud should offer an explanation and make full disclosure to public.
3. The Election Commission should institute a code of conduct and a regulatory authority for the conduct of opinion polls.
4. A criminal investigation should be carried out by an SIT, preferably under Supreme Court, to verify all the allegations contained in this sting and get to the bottom of this political conspiracy regarding the role of political parties in manipulating the findings of opinion polls in the recent past.
5. All the media organisations must be required to disclose the list of their share holders, investors and lenders, their annual financial statements and make full disclosure of their political connections and business interests outside media.
AAP will write to the NBSA, Editor’s Guild and approach the Election Commission of India with these demands.

१६वी लोक सभा के प्रतिनिधियों के राजनीतिक भाग्य का फैंसला 814,591,१८४ मतदाता करेंगे |इसमें पुरूष मतदाता 52.4 %जबकि महिला मतदाता 47.6 %और अन्य 0.००३५% हैं ये आंकड़े लैंगिक आधार पर भारतीय मतदाताओं की संरचना संशोधित मतदाता सूची 2014 के अंतिम प्रकाशन के बाद जारी किये गए हैं भारतीय निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा संशोधित मतदाता सूची के अंतिम प्रकाशन के बाद 14 फरवरी, 2014 को जारी मतदाता विवरण से पता चलता है कि देश में कुल 814,591,184 पंजीकृत मतदाता हैं। इनमें से पुरुष मतदाता 52.4 प्रतिशत, महिला मतदाता 47.6 प्रतिशत और ”अन्य” श्रेणी के मतदाता 0.0035 प्रतिशत हैं।
28 राज्यों और 7 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में से 21 राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में महिला मतदाताओं का अनुपात 47.6 प्रतिशत के राष्ट्रीय अनुपात से अधिक है। आठ राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेश ऐसे हैं, जहां महिला मतदाताओं की संख्या पुरुष मतदाताओं से अधिक है। पुड्डुचेरी में महिला मतदाताओं का अनुपात 52.01 प्रतिशत है, जो देश में सबसे अधिक है। इसके बाद केरल में महिला मतदाताओं का अनुपात 51.90 प्रतिशत है। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र, दिल्ली में महिला मतदाताओं का अनुपात सबसे कम 44.57 प्रतिशत है। इसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश है, जहां महिला मतदाताओं का अनुपात 45.20 प्रतिशत है। 17 राज्यों/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में ”अन्य” श्रेणी के मतदाता हैं। कर्नाटक में इस श्रेणी के सबसे ज्यादा मतदाता हैं और उसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश का स्थान है।

The Election Commission of India has decided to appoint special observers for the biennial elections to the Council of Four States,The poll will be held on 7th February, 2014. Director Investigation (Income Tax) of the concerned States have also been directed by the Commission to keep a strict and vigilant watch on the role of money power etc
The Election Commission of India has decided to appoint special observers for the biennial elections to the Council of States, 2014 for [1]Andhra Pradesh
[2] Assam
[3]Odisha[3] and
[4]West Bengal.
The poll in these Four states will be held on 7th February, 2014.
The duties of the Special Observers will be to keep a watch on electoral malpractices, if any, including role of money power. In case specific complaints are received, the same will promptly be looked into. The observers will also keep constant watch on the news and media reports related to These biennial elections In case of any electoral malpractices, the same will be brought to the notice of the Commission.

Aam Aadmi Party [AAP] has written a letter to the Election Commission seeking clarifications on use of Party name and symbol .
This letter has been written after arrest of five workers wearing the party caps in the capital.
It has been stated by “AAP” party that Since implementation of Code of Conduct in Delhi, Party volunteers are being unnecessarily harassed by Delhi Police.Even though AAP volunteers are peacefully campaigning for the party by wearing caps, Delhi Police are detaining them allegedly for violating the code of conduct. Some of volunteers were detained at Rajinder Nagar Police Station and were let off later for want of a valid reason.
The police is even objecting to wearing T-shirts terming it to be illegal.
In view of the above “AAP” party has asked for clarifications on the following points

निर्वाचन आयोग ने चुनाव से छह महीने पहले सामान्य चुनाव चिन्ह आवंटित करने का फैसला लिया: चिन्ह आवंटन की सुविधा केवल एक बार
निर्वाचन आयोग ने पंजीकृत गैर मान्यता प्राप्त राजनीतिक दलों को चुनाव से छह महीने पहले सामान्य चुनाव चिन्ह आवंटित करने का फैसला किया है |
अभी तक किसी राज्य में न्यूनतम 10 % सीटों के लिए आम चुनाव (लोकसभा या विधानसभा) लड़ रहे पंजीकृत गैर मान्यता प्राप्त राजनीतिक दलों को चुनाव की अधिसूचना की तारीख के निकट सामान्य चुनाव चिन्ह आवंटित करने का प्रावधान था। अब संशोधित प्रावधान के अनुसार कोई राजनीतिक दल सम्बद्ध सदन की अवधि समाप्त होने की तारीख से छह महीने पहले किसी भी समय सामान्य चुनाव चिन्ह के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है।
[१]यदि कोई सदन अवधि समाप्त होने से पहले भंग कर दिया जाता है, तो सामान्य चुनाव चिन्ह के लिए आवेदन सदन भंग होने की तारीख से किया जा सकता है। [२]चुनाव चिन्ह का आवंटन सभी प्रकार से परिपूर्ण आवेदन प्राप्त होने के बाद किया जाएगा और यह आवंटन पहले आओ पहले पाओ के आधार पर होगा।
[३]यदि दो राजनीतिक दलों के आवेदन एक ही दिन प्राप्त होते हैं, और दोनों ने समान चिन्ह के लिए आवेदन किया हो, तो मामले का निपटारा ड्रा के द्वारा किया जाएगा। किंतु ऐसे मामलों में यदि किसी एक पार्टी के किसी वर्तमान सांसद या विधायक ने उसी चुनाव चिन्ह से चुनाव लड़ा होगा तो चिन्ह आवंटित करने में अन्य पार्टी की तुलना में उसकी पार्टी को वरीयता दी जाएगी।
[४]आवेदन करते समय सम्बद्ध राजनीतिक दल को यह शपथ पत्र देना होगा कि वह राज्य के 10 % निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों से चुनाव लड़ेगा।
[५]किसी राज्य में विधान सभा की 40 सीटें या उससे कम होने की स्थिति में राजनीतिक दल को न्यूनतम पांच सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ना होगा। लोकसभा चुनाव के मामले में यदि किसी राज्य में लोकसभा की सीटें 20 से कम होंगी तो पार्टी को कम से कम दो सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ना होगा। ऐसे दल को उन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों की सूची आयोग को देनी होगी जिनसे वह चुनाव लड़ रहा है।
[६]यदि कोई राजनीतिक दल सदन की अवधि समाप्त होने से तीन महीने पहले अथवा सदन भंग होने की स्थिति में एक महीने के भीतर चुनाव चिन्ह के लिए आवेदन करता है तो पार्टी को चुनाव चिन्ह के लिए प्रस्ताव करने का विकल्प होगा। ऐसे मामले में पार्टी को चुनाव चिन्ह का डिजाइन और ड्राइंग आयोग की मंजूरी के लिए प्रस्तुत करना होगा।
[७]प्रस्तावित प्रतीक किसी आरक्षित या मुक्त प्रतीक से मिलता जुलता नहीं होना चाहिए अथवा किसी धार्मिक या सांप्रदायिक अर्थ वाला नहीं होना चाहिए अथवा किसी पक्षी या पशु को दर्शाने वाला नहीं होना चाहिए।
[८]अन्य मामलों में प्रतीक का विकल्प केवल मुक्त प्रतीकों की अधिसूचित सूची में से चुनना होगा।
सभी राजनीतिक दलों को सामान्य चुनाव चिन्ह के आवंटन की सुविधा केवल एक बार ही दी जाएगी। यह पार्टियों को तय करना होगा कि वे इस सुविधा का लाभ किस चुनाव में उठाना चाहती हैं। नए प्रावधान 15 जुलाई, 2013 से लागू होंगे।
निर्वाचन आयोग ने दलों के घोषणा पत्रों पर दिशानिर्देश बनाने के लिए मान्यता प्राप्त दलों की एक बैठक बुलाने का निर्णय लिया
भारत के निर्वाचन आयोग [ ECI ]ने उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्णय को संज्ञान में लेते हुए सभी राष्ट्रीय और राज्य स्तर के मान्यता प्राप्त दलों की एक बैठक बुलाने का निर्णय लिया है| इस बैठक में उच्चतम न्यायालय के 2008 और टीसी संख्या 2011 की 112- सुब्रामण्यम बालाजी बनाम तमिलनाडु सरकार और अन्य की एसएलपी (सी) संख्या 21455 पर 5.7.3013 को राजनीतिक दलों के घोषणा पत्रों पर दिशानिर्देश बनाने के लिए दिये गए एक निर्णय को लागू करने के संदर्भ में चर्चा की जानी है| ऐसी बैठक के लिए शीघ्र ही कोई तिथि निर्धारित की जायेगी। इस बीच, चुनाव आयोग निर्णय की एक प्रति मान्यता प्राप्त दलों को उनकी सूचना और दृष्टिकोण तैयार करने के लिए भेज चुका है।
[2]. आयोग उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्णय का संज्ञान ले चुका है कि इसे राजनीतिक दलों के घोषणा-पत्रों को तैयार करने के लिए दिशा-निर्देश बनाने चाहिए। यह निर्णय हो चुका है कि इस मामले में आगे कोई भी कार्रवाई करने से पहले राजनीतिक दलों का दृष्टिकोण लिया जायेगा।
[3]. आयोग शीघ्र ही सभी राजनीतिक दलों के बीच इस मामले में एक संदर्भ-पत्र वितरित करेगा। इसकी तैयारी के संदर्भ में आयोग राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर इस विषय पर उपलब्ध विचारों और व्यवहारों को संग्रहित करने का प्रयास शुरू कर चुका है।
निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा यह जानकारी आज 8 जुलाई, 2013 को दी गई।
